(2) BW8 Cards, Salamence Promo [11/20]

It wouldn't be a big deal for Flareon to learn Flare Blitz anyway, it would still be utterly outclassed by Entei, Darmanitan and Arcanine. Flareon needs something truly special to find a niche of its own in the 5th generation, probably in the form of an awesome supporting ability such as Drought.
bacon stop making me cry...and also reminding me to go EV train my Crown Entei

In this case it's not 'killer' (キラー), it's 'kira' (キラ), which means that they're going to be sparkly, aka probably holo.
Oh, whoop, didn't know killer had a long vowel in Japanese. Looks like that's my lesson for the day!

I am definitely playing Chandelure/Reshiram. No question it's the new BDIF.
Keldeo-EX would like to have a word with you...

Chandelure is good but It will probably run into problems with Blastoise which is probably faster.

I honestly believe Salamence is there to look pretty. =/. 4 for 100 is not good at all, with different energy cost that isn't on the same BLEND ENERGY.

I don't like Shadow Triad, it is good item recycling, but meh, for a supporter? I'd rather use Dowsing Machine.

I LOVE THE GLACEON. Level Ball searchable, gives everything on your field two less retreat... Good day :D

Shadow triad is actually quite good. It gets back any plasma card, not just item, meaning you can reuse plasma energy. It also works quite nicely with magnezone.

Shadow Triad might be amazing if they make a good ace spec that is a plasma card.

No, No. Plasma is Scary Enough

Ok so sp pokemon are pretty much back, but now Lugia EX can have 200 HP thanks to Umbreon, eviolite to make it take 20 less damage, able to have no weakness, and takes two prizes per KO. Good job TCPI way to deal with the big basic problem.;)

I know this might sound silly but does Umbreon's Ablility Stack?

another + 20 health due to the colorless stadium

Shadow Triad+Lugia.another way to get back your Plasma Energy!

Here's an idea:
Pokemon

2 Tornadus EX
2 Lugia EX
3-1-3 Magnezone Plasma
2-2 Umbreon Plasma

Trainer

4 Plasma Ball
4 Level Ball
4 Rare Candy
3 Colress Machine
2-3 Plasma Badge (For tornadus EX)
4 Catcher

4 Shadow Triad
4 N
4 Colress
4 Skyla

Energy

4 DCE
4 Plasma Energy
4 Dark (In case you need to use Umbreon or something)

Too lazy to add stuff up but yeah this could be pretty good.

No Ghetsis I thought that was coming out at a similar time to the new set ?

I'm not quite sure how much faster it'd be. Chandelure has Call for Family Litwik, as well as not needing all the energy you're going to attach in your hand. However, it certainly does run into problems keeping up with Prizes due to Weakness, and the fact that Chandelure is more essential to keep out than Blastoise is. I personally think Chandelure could be great with a different attacker, or perhaps multiple Colorless/Fire attackers. Guess we won't find out in our format for a while though.

And, I know Eviolite is a better card, but since this is just a hypothetical situation, with Giant Cape, it gets 20 more HP. That gives us a pokémon with 240 HP. Of course there's B-Kyurem with its Crystal Wall but it sucks. But yes, Eviolite is the better choice and the colorless stadium (Aspertia City Gym) won't be played over Plasma Frigate since the later negates Lugia's weakness.

Fire and Grass is on the same blend so you can add Shaymin EX/Virizion to help beat waters. However unless we get shiny Verizion Verizion will 100% wthout a doubt be rotated when these cards matter.

EDIT: You could also go for Leafeon Plasma. It can be a decent tech if your already running an eeveelution. it can 2HKO a fully charged Keldeo. does 20X opponent's energy for 1 colorless energy.

Haha Now Lugia EX can have 240 HP. Wait a minute D:
Umbreon + Aspetia + Giant Cape (Eviolite is better but jus sayin)

Cape and Eviolite in the end are no different...
nevermind. just thought about it.

And now there's a way to have more than 240 HP outside of Black Kyurem EX. Ho boy.

EEVEE BOX OMG YES
It's so good :O
Flareon can do titanic amounts of damage, and combos well with Eevees attack. Umbreon gives you huge amounts of bulk, and Jolteon is quite a nice attacker. You also have free retreat!

^ Eevolutions:
Umbreon/Flareon/Glaceon/Leafeon/Jolteon
So bad that rainbow is gone. Maybe play some lightning and GRPP.

4 lightning
4 GRPD
4 DCE
4 Plasma

Hammertime, we are done

the problem with eeveebox is you can only have 4 eevees.

There have been lots of eevebox. Just play the ones you need (generally the ones that get your opponent weakness or umbreon/glaceon). Also adding Deoxys EX might be good. You are already helping him with more HP with umbreon and free retreat with glaceon. extra damage and hitting mewtwo hard is something this deck would be missing.

Pokemon 14:

4 Eevee (the one with signs of evolution)
2 Umbreon
2 Glaceon
3 Flareon
1 Jolteon
2 Deoxys EX

T/S/S 33:

4 Catcher
3 Colress Machine
2 Plasma Badge (for eevee not needed all the time)
3 Pluspower
3 Revive (helps with eevee problem)
2 Super rod (^^^)
3 Plasma Ball
4 Colress
3 N
3 Skyla
2 Shadow Triad

Energy:

2 Lightning
4 GRPD
1 Fire
3 Plasma
4 DCE

I am STOKED for the new Eeveelutions!

Jolteon: Excellent way to force EX pokemon to the bench, but aside from that nich, there's not much it can do. Will be nice to use against the likes of Lugia EX due to the lightning weakness. 2HKO with just one Deoxys EX. Jolteon DEX is a decent alternative to this if you don't mind discarding your energy and losing the EX-can't-attack effect.

Vaporeon: An absolute must in a deck that needs an answer to Landorus EX and Ho-oh EX.

Flareon: For once, a Flareon that doesn't discard an energy to deal 90 damage! Vengence is also quite nice for a mere DCE and, thanks to being Plasma, also easy to power up thanks to Colress Machine. A must against the expected Metal decks.

Espeon: This one is meh... Both attacks are cheap and easy to use, but neither are truely game-breaking. About the only use it might have is being a little insurance against the dreaded late-game N.... and even then, you're opponent will see it coming from a mile away... Landorus EX generally outclasses the 40 snipe attack.

Umbreon: The new Espeon MD without restrictions exclusively for Plasma pokemon. If the rulings turn out to mirror the translation, it seems that THIS IS STACKABLE! This is the answer that the Eeveelutions have desperately been needing: a way to have more HP to survive the big bad EX hitters of our format.Easy to search out, too, thanks to one of the new Eevees.

Glaceon: The new Umbreon MD with support expanded to Plasma pokemon. This solves the problem of someone Catcher-stalling up Deoxys EX when you're using it as a bench sitter. A free retreat to the Eeveelutions is also a very nice bonus, as Darkrai EX + a darkness energy isn't required to gain the effect.

Leafeon: Am I the only one that sees this as a Keldeo EX counter? 2HKOs the darn thing for any one energy, with the potential to OHKO if they stack Keldeo EX with 4-5 energy and/or if you stack enough Deoxys EX/Pluspower.

I could see the rebirth of Eeveelution toolbox deck. It has the potential to surprise. The main hurdle will be overcoming opposing T1 attackers.. Landorus EX eats those poor Eevees for breakfast, hence why Vaporeon is god against it if you can get it up.

we have a new version of typhlo prime.... TYRAM IS REBORN! (then again, since it doesn't work on the discard... not really...)

Why is Umbreon weak to Psychic? If anything, it should be resistant to psychic.

It's not.
It's {F} x2 {P} -20 RC {C}.
