i'm also getting sf. im looking at getting starfox, kid icarus, oot, and that one mario game
Wait is Star Fox a launch game?
Unfortunately it's not, nor is Zelda OoT, so the N64 pseudo-ports I'm guessing should be out by the summer hopefully, especially if they went so far as to show them off quite a bit during the pre-release promotions/events. I can't find anything online that would suggest otherwise, hmm…
I was figuring that, it was just the guys above were talking like it was.
I went to Best Buy again today to play it some more. I hacked it to get to the menu and had some fun with face raiders, the camera, and the mii maker. The 3d is so much better on the menu, you can really notice it there, it just pops out. In face raiders, the thing really popped out, it seemed like an inch out. It was funny to see the other pictures people just randomly took, who also knew the hack. I wish I could have tried the AR games, but I had no cards, so it didn't work.
I'm so hyped now for Sunday.

The resolution of the screen for the 3DS is different than that of the DSi. You have to hold the START and SELECT buttons at the same time at the menu, and wait for the image of the cartridge to spin, and the resolution will be fixed to work with DS games.

Hmmm I'm on the fence if I should go ahead and buy it now or not. That blue colour is very nice but there are no games that interest me other than Rayman which I probably have 6 copies of already. I'll make up my mind tomorrow.
I hate my Gamestop. Originally, I wasn't going to get any games for the 3DS, but I then realized that I really wanted SSF4, so yesterday I called up my Gamestop and asked if they ordered extra copies of games. But of course, no, and they won't have any copies for anyone who didn't preorder, till April 1. Sigh, maybe the Target next door did order extra's...
I just preordered mine. I'm also considering selling my DS Lite. The only thing it has that the 3DS doesn't is PictoChat [which I won't miss much] and a longer battery life; but the 3DS has a similar battery life when it's in DS compatibility mode.
Oh, and also, as for the GBA slot, I still have my Gameboy Advance SP.
I'm not interested in very many of the games being released around this time, but while I'm waiting for the better titles to be released I can occupy myself with old DS games, namely White. ;p

Hey, just got 3ds..does anyone know if you ca listen Saved music While playing a 3ds game? (like how you can on the xbox 360) lmk if anyone knows how to if you can

I'm jealous of those of you who are getting it from GameStop today. I have to wait until Wednesday for mine to be shipped (I ordered it from amazon.com...)
Just bought the 3DS... and I am truly shocked. The 3D is really outstanding. People complaining that it hurts your eyes, give it time. Seriously, I felt the same way. If you look very carefully at whats actually on the screen and don't pay attention to anything around you, you will become accustomed to it. I love the 3D.
I haven't bought any games yet, but I'll be picking up Pilot Wings tomorrow. HOWEVER, I have one MAJOR complaint.
First let me just say, those of you who know me KNOW that I'm never one to complain, especially on the release of something. But one detail with this is absolutely bothering me.
DS games look AWFUL on the 3DS. I mean... I can't even play White. You can say I'm over-dramatizing it... it is playable, but the resolution just looks horrendous. I will never play a DS game on the 3DS, it bothers me that much. I'd even go as far to say that if you are completely happy with your DS, stick with it until huge games come out on the 3DS. Really, it's that bad.
Yes, there's a "resolution fix", which is actually worse. While the look of DS games is just pitiful, the console really is innovative. I have no doubt that Sony and even Microsoft will follow in Nintendo's footsteps.
Anyway, that's my two cents. Feel free to ask my questions about the 3DS if you really are curious about something.

Went and got it theis morning. The 3D is great. The 3-2-1 and reveal was just plain amazing when i started it. Right when you buy it your head hurts for a little while and then after you play for a hour and set it down then play for another hour it gets better.
I bought Pilotwings and Asphalt 3D. Pilotwings is definitly the best user of 3D IMO. Asphalt is also pretty good.
I havent yet played and DS games on it but may try that later when i get bored of built in software and the games.

Here in Mexico,the 3DS is insanely expensive:$5490 Pesos!Thats the same as $549 Dollars... O_O
At least its good to know that I can buy it on the internet,because I found a good price:$3799,the 3DSes are all new,and the seller haves Excellent Reputation.I just will leave it up to my big bwuther.
