Well that's nice to see, I'm also happy that you're guaranteed to get a SAR card in a box (something TPCi should really bring back for future main regardless of the oinking and squealing piggish investors will unleash due to such an action being perceived as a threat to their bottom line).
As a TCG player I instantly get annoyed if I see Teal Mask Ogerpon ex as an opponent's Active or Benched Pokémon at the start of the match, that means they're either playing Raging Bolt ex (due to Bellowing Thunder's "lax" Energy discard requirements) or Regidrago VSTAR (not as big of an issue as Raging Bolt ex due to the the set-up requirements is but still obnoxious) and that instantly takes the game's fun factor down by a few notches. You want the DLC poster legendary to go away? Now that's a good one...
If anything, the only people i've seen ogerpon hate from are tcg collectors
It's because they're a "celebration" of the main sets released in 2024. Iron Leave and Walking Wake represent Wild Force and Cyber Judge, Teal Mask Ogerpon ex represents Transformation Mask, Terapagos ex represents Stellar Miracle, and Pikachu ex represents Super Electric Breaker. A similar pattern is seen in Paldean Fates's Secret Rares (Koraidon ex, Miradon ex, Chi-Yu ex, Chien-Pao ex. Wo-Chien ex, and Ting-Lu ex) and I wouldn't be surprised if it returned for 2025's High-Class set as well. Can someone explain why there is a pikachu gold in this
