This idea is crazy. I'm sure some people have heard of it, I'm sure someone has come up with real reasons it won't work. One thing's for sure though, I pull a heatmor at the prerelease, I'm using a deck like this. (translations) [Explanations]

Pokemon
4 Heatmor PLS (Fire, Basic 90Hp. Retreat {c} weakness {w} Resistance {}
{R} Luring Flame. Switch the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. The new Defending Pokémon is now Burned.
{R}{R}{R} Hot Lick 50x. Discard the top 4 cards from your deck. This attack does 50 damage times the number of {R} Energy discarded.)
[You get lucky with card placement and ethers, you're doing 200 damage pur turn from turn 1. Even if you're not, Luring Flame can stall to net you a turn so you can start doing 200 damage starting turn 2. And if you're really unlucky, well, you just fail and get OHKOed every turn. ]

Supporters: 4
Sklya x 4 [You don't need draw, you don't want draw, you basically only want items in your hand apart from your energy drop.]

Items:
Ether x 4 (Reveal the top card of your deck. If it is a basic Energy card, attach it to one of your Pokémon. If it is not a basic Energy card, return it to the top of your deck.)[You run so much energy, and you need 3 energy to start burning things]
Super rod x 3 [Put 3 energy back into the deck to burn again]
Level Ball x 3 [Le search for Heatmor]
Exp. Share x 3 [keeps active energy on the field.]
Dowsing Machine (Ace Spec version of Junk arm, but can also grab a supporter)

Energy
Fire x 42 [yeah, this is what I mean by way to much energy.]

So, thoughts, comments, concerns?

WOW! Just Saying this idea is insane! but might work... My only worry is that if half of your cards are not energy how do you expect to have the top four cards be energies? It might do a consistent 100 to 150 which in case would not kill Mewtwo EX and (since you have 3 Energies attached and mewtwo has a DCE) Mewtwo then strikes for the 100 damage for ko. And with only 4 basics a strong chance of DONK! Game Over... One thing that would boost the damage output would be that lunatone, you would look at the top two and take the non energy, and that is one more basic. You might consider something like Rocky Helmet so if you did do 150 to the mewtwo and he attacked you, he would die? (just an idea) Or maybe Rescue Scarf to recycle your very few heatmor. Not sure about this deck very... Different... Haha Good Luck! Hope I Helped!

Super rods to put back energy, all my search cards to take out items. Hopefully I get rid of as many non-energy as possible as quickly as possible, the only item that can't be used immediately is catcher. But yeah, if this beats aggro mewtwo even once, then either it got really lucky or the other player or their build sucks. Maybe take out the recycles to max out super rods.

Yeah I would probaly make those changes. But I still might add that lunatone, not sure.

The only thing with lunatone is then I'd need switches, that thing's got a nasty 3 retreat.

Doesn't Lunatone just look at the top two cards or is like Musharna. If it's not Musharna, it's pointless because it makes no difference whether or not you see the cards before you declare your attack, they are still going to be what they are. Granted, you could shuffle your deck with Skyla/Random Receiver, but I'm still not sure it's worth it to include Lunatone instead of more {R} which would give you better odds of hitting {R} anyway. Same idea with Pokedex since you don't have draw, so you're likely not to have it when you need it. My opinion on this deck and Rayquadza are "If it isn't necessary, then don't include it." If you want this to work, you'll need more than 33 {R}. I played against someone running Rayquadza at Cities. He used Celestial Roar and discarded a Rayquaza, a Revive, and something else that wasn't an energy. He had 40 energies, I believe.

Lunatone just lets you look and rearrange, and it and pokedex are more in there for ether, but they aren't that necessary.

I tried this deck with Ether and Super Rod, but the optimal list I've come up with is this, slow and steady though:
4 Heatmor (Plasma Storm)

4 Exp. Share
3 Level Ball
4 Skyla

45 Fire

It really seems too slow without Ether to me. The catchers, pokedexes, random recievers, and even the ace spec can possibly be taken out, but I can't see taking out Ether or super rod.

I agree with the fact I would have Ether, And I just realized the Lunatone only lets you see it! Never Mind about that my bad.
