Pokemon animals that havent made it to pokemon form

@masterge and alvin, does nobody see the resemblance between a panda and snorlax?
and kyogre is an orca, kabuto may be based off of an anciet sea creature but look at it: it looks like a tail-less horseshoe crab, and both Entei and Arcanine are based in part off of tigers

More ideas:
Ambulocetus (an amphibious whale)
Pterygotus (a stingless scorpion the size of a crocodile)
Mosasaur
Andrewsarcus (a carnivorous species of sheep)
Moeratherium (small, trunkless elephant)
Dimetrodon (those sail-backed reptiles. They are not dinosaurs btw)

If you think these are two obscure, let me remind you that the basis for yanmega is just as obscure and anorith's is even more so.

@Shadow Arceus: If Arcanine, Entei and Suicune are based on wolves, I'm Santa Claus... Arcanine is a (giant) dog, Entei is a lion, and Suicune... I don't really know what the heck Suicune is but it looks undoubtly more feline than canine...

@Sillykyle!: you silly man, do you even know what a T-Rex is? Probably don't, otherwise you wouldn't say Rampardos is based on T-Rex LOL... The closest thing we have of a T-Rex is Tyranitar and even then, it looks more like Godzilla...

Know your Pokemon, and we're talking about animals that haven't been made into Pokemon yet for most of you. The Legendary Dogs actually do seem to be based upon Large Cats/Wolves.
I would like to see a Pokemon based upon
-T-Rex
-Spinosaurus
-Lion
-Rhino

really? size?
and if you blew it up, scary? have you ever seen a mosquito up close? a large one would just scare the kids away

@metalizard, I was wrong about Entei, but Arcanine =tiger/lion/wolf hybrid and suicune is a leopard/wolf hybrid according to bulbapedia.

Let's see...PIENSAPIENSAPIENSAPIENSAPIENSAPIENSAPIENSA...

Plankton Pokemon? (But a little bit bigger)
Turkey Pokemon
Goat Pokemon (A proper one!Not a extremely weird/ugly goat that created Pokemon or a even weirder steel goat)
Sponge Pokemon? (Sea Sponge...Not like Spongebob, and sea sponges are animals, even if they don look like them...AND LILEEP IS A LILY,before you say that Lileep is a sponge,or something)
Dolphin Pokemon
Shark Pokemon (Sharpedo is like a evil sunfish)
And most importantly...A Grass mammal starter...THEY HAVE DONE REPTILE GRASS STARTERS FOR 5 GENS STRAIGHT...We really need a grass mammal starter.

That's all I can think of

@Shadow Arceus: Bulbapedia isn't always right... I don't see how Arcanine is lion/tiger/wolf mix... It just looks like a giant dog...

Yeah it's pretty much a giant dog. It's got a tiger's colour scheme sorta but that's just the colour aspect.

@Los_t_Life

Qwilfish is a pufferfish pokemon, and I don't see how a sea urchin could evolve into a pufferfish. Sea urchins aren't even venomous I think.

Now a qwilfish evolution...

Judging by what Mijuaru and Mamepato evolve into at their final stages, I'd say anything is possible.

pokemon evolution is technically not 1 species magically transforming into another species. It's technically spontaneous metamorphosis, sort of like how a tadpole becomes a frog, or a caterpillar into a butterfly, but with glowing light and taking place in less than 10 seconds, and reversible if you press the B button.
