Anybody watch game shows anymore?

I

I know I’m probably going to sound like a real nerd for saying this, but recently I started watching game shows again that usually play on TV when nothing else is actually on and I got to thinking how interesting some of them really are. While I can’t say their my absolute favorite programs, quiz shows such as Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire? can be seriously addicting if you try and play along with them. So, I was wondering this: does anyone else still watch these things anymore and, if so, what ones do you watch and which are your favorites?

My Mom watches Wheel of Fortune religiously and, as such, I've watched it a lot as well. I personally don't like the game that much though.

dmaster out.

The Weakest Link was awesome, as was Who Wants to Be a Millionaire when it was hosted by Regis Philbin. I don't really watch game shows as much anymore, though.

Family Fued is really the only one I watch now-a-days. And they are few and far between. When I was younger I LOVED them. Match Game was my favorite. Weakest Link, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Lingo, etc.

Anyone remember Russian Roulette? I always wondered what they fell into...

Sometime I watch Wheel of Fortune whenever I am bored and nothing seems to be coming on TV. I also watch Family Feud sometimes not much. Whenever I get time I watch The Price is Right. Thats pretty much it. ._.

I grew up with game shows, and as such, I still watch them to this day.

No.It would seem as though the popularity of game shows such as jeopardy are dratically dropping. The only one that is still truly for the most part still in motion would probably be deal-or-no-deal.

But if you have heard of ninja warrior or Saskue in japanese then you will certainly enjoy this like me.

Ah you know of it to huh:D,It is truly exciting to see especially if someone like Nagano falls.Every single minute is heart pumping.

Haha well I don't watch it enough to know who you are talking about. I like the people who show up in ninja outfits or as super heroes, and then fail epicly on the first stage xD

I used to watch some game shows when I stayed home sick from school. Then I would play along with GSN on the computer, following the same games it showed. It was pretty fun, but when they stopped showing Lingo and Chain Reaction it was kinda eh.

I enjoy watching game shows every once in a while. I remember getting really excited about Ninja Warrior when I was younger. I tried to make a course in my room and failed horribly xD. Certain game shows are always fun to watch, others, like Deal or No Deal seem to get boring after a while.

1 vs 100
The Weakest Link
Double Whammy
Baggage
Wheel of Fortune
Chain Reaction
Ninja Warrior

^all those are amazing^

Oh how I miss the good old days of Gladiators and Robot Wars :(. It saddens me to know that neither of them shows are on anymore (at least, not in the UK). I say:

"BRING BACK ROBOT WARS!!!!!" Hypno-Disc was like an idol for me... :( These days there's not much on... I really do wish I could go back to those days and relive my memorable childhood. :'( I love and hate this kind of nostalgia at the same time - it's very strange and depressing. :(

When Game Show Network was on, I would watch Lingo and Press your Luck (Whammy) daily. Those were awesome. I have been on the set for Wheel of Fortune (the wheel is heavy... they make it look easy) before. Lotsa fun. I just wish that we have some old classic game shows airing again... idk... probably won't happen.

How comes no one has said the crown jewel of games shows, The Price is Right?! I remember watching the show growing up and me, my sister and my younger cousin would play our own game by trying to guess the prices like the contestants did.

I still watch when I have time coming back from college and Drew Carey is a great host. He's only catching flak because he replaced the best game show host of all time, Bob Barker.

The Price is Right is the best game show on TV.

I love watching the Prize is Right. The show is amazing to watch. I just watch is sometimes whenever I get time and am not busy. The Prize is Right is one of my favorite game shows on TV right now.

Nowadays most game shows are boring. I used to watch Family Feud, but I lost interest. I heard that Steve Harvey is the new host, maybe I'll watch it.
