Anyone notice mistakes on cards?

I have 2.
#1: Scyther (Unseen Forces)
Twin Play: Search your deck for up to 2 in any combination of Scyther and Scyther EX and put them onto your bench. Shuffle your deck afterward.
2? 2 what? 2 action figures? 2 Pokemon in the video games? :)
#2: Pineco (Neo Discovery)
Flip a coin. If heads, Pineco does 40 damage to itself and 10 damage to each Pokemon on each player's bench. (Don't apply weakness and resistance for benched Pokemon.) Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. (not even damage.)
Flip 2 coins? Eh? Do you flip that second coin after the first, or before it?

That bit on Scyther isn't a mistake. All cards with wording like that are worded that way. Last mistake I saw was on Team Aqua's Electrike, its attack said "Fllip a coin." They all have it, see for yourself. :p

Maybe, according to proper English. But the TCG doesn't always follow that.

Blaine's charizard, says (F) energy instead of (R)
blaine's charizard said:
discard all (F) energy cards attached to blaine's charizard. If all energy cards attached to blaine's charizard provide 2(R) energy, discard all of them. This attack does 10 more damage for each (R) energy discarded in this way
+ nothing :D, and what's with the 2, this card was totally misspelled :p

Yeah, I noticed that, but i wasn't sure if it was a mistake or not. Whatever the case, the attack's a lot better this way! :)

Do you guys no the MAJOR misspelling on Slowking Neo Genisis?? It caused major problems.

It reads:

Pokemon Power: Mind Games
Whenever your opponent plays a trainer card, you may flip a coin. If heads, that card does nothing. Put it on top of your opponents deck. This power cant be used if Slowking is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.

See the mistake? Even if the opponents trainer is succesful, they put it on top of your deck. It was supposed to be if it failed that that happened. Neat huh? :p

On Team Magna's Camerupt, it spells Team Magma "Team Mamga" The psychic type Team Magma's Claydol's retreat cost isn't centered. #2 Team Aqua's Crawdaunt's retreat cost isn't centered. same thing with Team Magma's Torkoal. On team Magma's Mightyena #37, in the poke-power, there isn't a space between "if" and "Team"
OFF TOPIC: Why are status conditions like paralyzed and burned always capitilized?

Because they are (most likely this is the reason) rules. If a rule has a title (in most games) the word is capitolized. Such as in Warhammer, Move is written for the movement phase.

Hey, why is 'Benched' always capitalised? =P

I barely see any mistakes, now that PUI has taken over.. although there still are a fair few. *cough*electrodeex*cough*

There's an even bigger mistake on Slowking....it's a translation error. >_< The power was supposed to work only if it was Active.

Shining Raichu also had a translation error, it was supposed to discard [W] energy with the attack...it does no such thing in English.

The flavor text of Shining Tyranitar, "It is so powerful, it can knock down a mountain with hust one arm.."

And also a big error from Emerald:

"As long Minun has any [L] energy on it..."

A second "as" is needed there.

And of course, there's FR/LG's new Pokemon, "Drowsee".

Look at dark arbok from the original team rocket set and the copyright date says 1999-23000 instead of 1999-2000 and look at rapidash from jungle set and seaking from jungle set they both say put them on the stage 1 card and they ARE the stage 1 cards.:) They are known as misprints.:)

Oh ya I remember that because WPM posted about it a few months ago in the news here and he even had bids from ebay shown and one sold for 800 or 8000 dollars or something like that but I can't remeber the actual sale and it is here in his archives somewhere.:)

Heracross Neo Genisis says: "If Heracross's HP are 40 or less..."
Are?? Shouldnt it be IS?

Not really, if you take a moment to think about what HP stands for. Hit points, right? So, you're saying:

"If Heracross's hit points is 40 or less..."

It's bad grammar. The "HP are" bit is actually correct.

Also, I didn't know Genesis Slowking was so messed up. Wow.

Shining Raichu was one of the better Shining cards because it could tear up the Bench when comboed with Rain Dance or anything that somehow let you load him up with Waters (40 to Active, 50+ to a Benched, not even fair). Now that you mention that bit about him originally having to discard Water to pay for Thundersquall makes him bad. :(

Look at Tumbling Attack. Near the end of the effect, there is a puntuation error.

Look at Spontaneous Explosion: you'll see the exact same error: near the end.

'Nuff said. It says "are", not "is"

Uhh, how MANY damage counters?

Also, some strange things. On the card "Blaine's Last Resort" it looks like Blaine is holding.... a premier ball? http://www.serebii.net/picture.php?TCG/Gym_1/105-blaines_last_resort.jpg
Also on "Lt. Surges Secret Plan" he's holding.... is that a masterball? http://www.serebii.net/picture.php?TCG/Gym_2/107-surges_plan.jpg
