Are 3-Pack Blisters Not Sold in America Anymore?

Well on one of these UK sites 2 3 pack blisters came to 40$ after shipping

Well that's about right, it's not because it's expensive to send. It's because your currency isn't worth much, plus it's lost more value since the US Government shut down.

$40 is £24.

Each blister is about £9

That's only £6 postage, it costs them £3 to send within the UK, so it's only an extra £3 to send to the US, which is the same as a pack of cards.

That's really good in terms of postage, when I order from the US, Postage is always higher.

The-kaiser and I - are both super pokemon collectors. We want those darn promos because we want to collect them all! And even if its just a different artwork picture, or even the type of holofoil, it matters. Mainly having all the BWxx promos is what my main goal is with promos. Tropical beach and champions festival already make it darn hard enough!

To shed some new light on this:

I had 2 contacts that both own/manage a hobby-game shops (in 2 seperate states), contact their distributers. Who they buy their product directly from. They dont buy from TCPI because of the enormous quantitys invloved. The theory is that TCPI uses a distribution company (vendors) to get their products from TCPI warehouses to the walmart shelf

These 2 different distrubuters (who get packs directly from TCPI), both said that they have no way to order these products (3 promo blister packs), beyond the set of boundaries crossed. They even said it may be a walmart/target exclusive. Which I then said, thats not it because walmart, target, kmart, toysrus, barnes and nobles, and books-a-million ALL carry the 3 packs. PLUS these distributers can get boundaries crossed 3 packs, which is they exact same product, just older set. The distributers basically new nothing helpful. SO what the heck is TCPI doing with them?? The lame reply they gave the-kaiser was just ridiculous. I wonder if you can call a customer service phone line, and maybe talk to a real person?

If their customer service was anything like my stint in telephone customer service, do not bother! Many times we learned about new product on our own.

As I stated months ago, I think they will be released eventually. They have a history of releasing some promo product in Europe before North America.

I have all the BW promos

Saw some yesterday at Target, the Deoxys blisters with Plasma series packs, so I think they're still sold here.

If anyone does need them, just let me know and I can trade the promo's. I have ordered the blisters anyway. Perhaps they have them now then, I am not sure why they wouldn't sell them. The market is bigger in the US.

I haven't seen any in my area since Call of Legends, actually, except for Dragon Vault. However, I was able to obtain both Boundaries Crossed ones online. I want them to just release the rest already.

When I checked my local big box retailers, the latest ones they had was Boundaries crossed. They never had Next Destinies, Dark Explorers, Dragons Exalted, nor any of the Plasma sets in stock.

I went to a game store and they had a dark explorers blister, and I went to another game store and they had a Dragons exalted blister. Come to think of it, I think Dragons Exalted was sold in North America, while NXD and DEX, and the Plasma sets weren't sold in North America. The only way you can buy them, without buying online, is cross your fingers and hope that some game store buys them instead.

It's unusual as to where these are found, some stores stock them some don't. If everything is ordered through a 3rd party, and not TPCi who is it ?

Heh, it's funny. I was in the States back in May looking at Pokémon cards, and I saw Boundaries Crossed 3-packs everywhere. When I was in the States again last month.... still Boundaries Crossed everywhere. I'll take a look at my local shops here in Amsterdam to see if I can find anything; if there's interest, I can start offering the promos at least in my trade thread once that's fully up and running again (shipping might be kind of expensive for the full 3-pack, but if people want that too, we can look into it).

I can attest that I saw and bought these 3 packs (with promos in the blister), about a year or so ago. I live in North America.

black white, emerging pwers, noble victories, next destinies, dark explorers, dragons exalted, dragon vault, boundaries crossed.

Well older ones i see on ebay its just ones after Plasma Storm i havent seen anywheres =/

Good News: New 3-Pack Blisters are out

Bad News: No promo cards, just pins.
