As you will soon see, this week will start the first split off between Art of the Week and FanArt of the Week. After discussing things with my fellow staff, we agreed that splitting AotW into two separate contests might be best; AotW will continue on as a general art-related (no Pokémon) competition, while FanArt of the Week (FAotW), will be started as a strictly Pokémon-related competition, with a different theme time.

There will be no theme this week.

Each artist will be limited to 1 entry, so choose your submission carefully! Remember: the winning entry will feature on the PokéBeach portal page for every member to see!

Deadline: Sunday, November 13th​

Guidelines

  1. Art submission.
    You can submit your own work into this contest, or others can submit work on your behalf. In such a situation, the original artist will be contacted for approval.
    ---
  2. You may have only one piece of artwork submitted each week.
    This includes work you submit for yourself, and work others submit for you.

  3. Constructive comments only.
    We all want this to be a fun event, so if you have something to say, make sure it's for the benefit of the artist.

  4. Allowable art.
    Signatures, pictures, wallpapers, and drawings are all allowed. As long as it's not Pokémon-related, there's not much of a limit, so let's see what you can do!

    For a fun, competitive contest, we need entries! Not only will there be more competition with more entries, but it will also be another way to showcase the artistic talent of PokéBeach members!

    Instead of posting your entries here as you have been, please PM your entries to me, CMP, with the subject "AotW #7." This is important -- when I post the entries, I'll be looking for that title. If you don't title your PM that, there is a chance I may miss it. Thanks!

Sorry if this is being a bit nosey here CMPer but what's the big fuss with the work being kept to PM? Seems a little strange to me :D

Things were originally based on lilsparks' Art Work of the Week, where entries could get PM'd or posted in the thread.

No real reason, Flameh -- figured we'd try it for a week or two. It'll help me to NOT miss any entries, either -- that's why I need the PMs titled "AotW #7" as that's what I'll be looking for when I post the entries.
