Really, Ash doesn't need a Riolu to be pwerful (or a water-type, either), if he doesn't get a Riolu, it fits Brock beacuse he like using some steel types (Forterres, Steelix), plus it could be his filler for the season

Season 11 isn't even out in Japan you guys are still stuck with Season 10
That makes no sense it will still be in Sinnoh and as much as I love Dawn they will advertise the next gen girls instead of keeping her. EX: They replaced May who was very, very popular.Dawn and Pachirisu said:

No it won't september will still be season 10 the only reason they took a break is because the english one is way to close to the japenese one plus we were getting a new episode every day and in japan it every week
He not a filler he need to stay for comidic relief without him there is nothing but another orange island season which was not as good as it should have been if they had him

Why do you want this to happen so much we all want ash to get one pokemon or another that we like but with 2 space left and them being at the third badge in japan I don't think he will get oneBonsly said:

Okay the writers have hinted several times about Ash getting Riolu. They even have A thing where you can send them email's saying which pokemon you want people to catch. And they said on their site: Wow, so many people have requested for Ash to catch Rioru/Riolu. Maybe he might but time will tell. (I can read japanese) And several other times they have hinted twords it.

Notice that in most regions he catches more than six pokemon. He will probably have seven or eight pokemon by the end of the adventure.
Ash will probably catch a Snover. Just like he caught Snourunt. I can actually imagine Ash losing to the seventh gym leader, go to train, beat the seventh gymleader in a final battle with luck, or if it evolves. It will then learn Avalanche.

unlike many, i believe the grass-water-fire theory for Ash. He has always caught one pokemon of each of the 3 elemental types in every region. So, why not now?
As many have suggested ash might trade his aipom for dawns buizel thus earning him the water type for this region. As for fire type the only choice is a magmortar. Some did predict that ash would catch a magmortar to counterpart garys electrivire. Having no alternatives i will go for this theory as well.

well i know Ash hardly let go his pokemon let alone trade one. He actually traded back his butterfree, the only time he engaged into tradin business. But i have certain points to stand on to believe he might trade aipom for buizel-
1. Aipom loves contests more and is a girl. Dawn is into contests while ash is not.
2. Ash attempted to catch buizel but failed.
3. Buizel is strong and battles as trainer-battles should be like, more than contest battles.
4. Buizel is strtegyst like ash (he won over pikachu using strategy more than power). Whereas aipom poses while starting a gym-battle(in Gardenia's gym)
5. There never have been a successful trading shown in the anime before (except for woobuffets trade which was also an accident) and they are going for these accessories in this season.
6. Ash needs a water pokemon from this gen. Since that finneon fish thing cant battle on land buizel is our only logical choice.

well just becuz he is in Sinnoh (which i dont no much about becuz they are only in the middle of the battle frontier here cuz the people ho provide the shows here suk) doesnt mean he has to catch a water pokemon from Sinnoh he can catch mantyke maaybe its part flying

But he doesnt have to get A fire or water. The writers might want to change things around A bit. Now if anyone gets Magmortar it will be Gary since he already has A Magmar. And Pikachu already rival's against Gary's Electivire. And when Ash does not get Buizel or Magmortar, I will shove it in your face hard.

ok the elemental theory apart, i wud guess on riolu and gible. they are the two types ash has not captured yet... but riolu really seems Brocks type, a baby who needs to be cared of and brock being the breeder. i mean phanpy was a baby too, but had a diff. image within himself. though its also true that ash had baby-sit larvitar in the past.
as for gible, its a pretty good choice. it goes with ash and is a dragon which ash has not captured yet...
