You can watch the episodes online for free ya know, just Google Search for it.

No, our internet only gets a limited amount of data usage each month, and watching videos just eats it up.

I am looking forward to seeing the true identity of Amon, but I highly doubt it will be Aang.

The plot is starting to thicken and because of that the show is getting much better each episode.

Has anyone thought of this.

In the original Avatar TLA...
Ya know how Azula is the daughter of the fire lord.
Ya know how she is one of the main antagonists. (Evil)
Ya know how one of Azula's sidekicks had the power to temporary take away your bending? (Ty Lee)
Ya know how Ty Lee couldn't bend.
Ya know how she and the other sidekick (Mai) betrayed Azula.
Ty then joined the kyoshee warriors. They painted their faces white with red markings.

Amon's parents were killed by a fire-bender.

So my guess is:
Amon is Ty Lee's son.

MIND BLOWN

RE: The Legend of Korra

Because Kyoshi warrior makeup is totally related to Amon's mask.

Inb4 Amon is just Amon.

RE: The Legend of Korra

The Agni-Kai triad was the one that killed Asami's mother, so it isn't Ty Lee's son.

RE: The Legend of Korra

Hmm, why haven't I seen this thread before?

But yes, I have been watching/inhaling the series actively, and I'm going to be honest: I don't really care about who Amon is. Everybody makes a big deal about it, and sure it will be surprising...but that's the point. To be surprised. So I'm not even going to worry about it until it happens.

I'm going to be honest my favorite characters are Lin and Bolin, mostly because of the personalities, but also because I like earthbenders.

I don't really feel as though the plot has been rushed to be honest. If anything, I think it's a great example to the coming adults of how fast a civilization can fall. I love the series and Korra. I don't find her annoying, since her trials in bending are less obvious than Aang's. For Aang we knew very well that he had to master the elements, and we knew exactly how he should do it, by finding masters.

But how exactly are we supposed to know what Korra is to do. Sure, she excels in the physical, but Aang had the same talent in the spiritual. Every person has a weakness, and this is hers. I don't really find that annoying. In fact, I find it fun because it's almost as though they completely switched the avatar's personality.

Oh, and by the way the soundtrack is fantastic and I shall listen to it everyday.

Wat.
Which episode does it say this?
I mean it makes perfect sense. HOW CAN THIS BE!

It says it and has a source. Besides, Ty Lee was good.

RE: The Legend of Korra

I Doubt that Amon will take Korra's bending away.....She is the avatar meaning she has tons of experience dealing with evil villians. She'll Beat him somehow...

RE: The Legend of Korra

She'll go into Avatar mode. If Amon took her bending away, goodbye season 2.

I kinda want both to happen. Having her lose her bending would make for a great season two.

RE: The Legend of Korra

That might be a good thing. They could make her have a more likable personality that way. :p

I enjoy this show a lot. It brings back amazing memories of the first series with Aang. It doesn't have quite the same feel but this series could definitely pick up a lot after this first season.

dmaster out.

Not in the first two seasons.

How?? No Bending= Regular person....
Not really, she will probably find a way to get her bending back.
I mean, if korra loses her bending for the rest of the show, what is the point of the show?

RE: The Legend of Korra

Dealing with the loss of her bending. Getting it back. Helping Republic City recover from Amon's attacks.

RE: The Legend of Korra

Lets look at it this way...

If Korra beats Amon and saves Republic City, then what is there to do in season two? Korra masters Air bending to do nothing? The plot of a war between benders and non-benders would end, leaving no content following the storyline in season two. The producers could throw in some random, new character that would take over the anti-bending revolution or start a new plot for season two, but both of those are really poor design choices.

A second outcome is if Korra beats Amon and Amon runs away to return in the future, which is pathetically stupid.

The third outcome is Korra loses her bending and the revolution takes over Republic City. Korra would have to "regain" her ability to bend, and by doing this, it will explain how Amon takes away bending. (Does he light bend? Simply blocks bending? Or some other method?) It will also make for more content for season two, perhaps more screen time for Aang (which the fan base would really like), and will also reveal that it is possible to regain bending from whatever Amon did. This would ultimately sum up all of the questions in a much better way.

Plain and simple, what I want Korra to do:
-Get deeper into Amon's character
-Explain what Amon does to take away bending
-Korra to master the four elements

And the best way to do all four is by having her lose her bending.

Of course, there are more outcomes and more to would could happen after each outcome, but this is my personal opinion of what will happen.

RE: The Legend of Korra

What I expect to happen is Korra beats Amon, but not Hiroshi Sato. After Maku starts crushing on Korra, Asami gets jealous and joins her dad.
