Just try to use logic or something, make sure you know why what you're afraid of is implausible, ridiculous and nothing to be afraid of (do research if necessary), and just try to calm yourself with that. Most of the stuff used in horror movies are everything but plausible treats anyway, how many cases of men being eaten alive by rats have you heard of, like, ever? What are the odds of something happening to you whilst anything barely happens to anyone at night, and like 99.99999% of the people live to see the next day?
It might actually help to sit through a few horror movies just so you get used to them. Those silly Japanese horror movies are just funny now that I've watched a bunch of them :D

Don't I know that. Horror movies are uninteresting now. Only exception would be something like Hannibal, but even then, it's all fake. ;o

dmaster out.

Just use logic. Most of the things you dream are impossible anyway. ;p

That being said, when you have a dream where you really believe your going to die in some way... that can take a few days to get over. lol

....I can die in reality.....That made it much worse.

Yuo're lucky, I don't get dreams at all anymore and I'm 10 :(

Anywayz, 3 workds for ya

Power Of Mind.

I've found that I can usally control my dreams, and I can always stop them if I want.

It also helps if you go to sleep thinking about good things, like bunnys with cookies, or an aligator eating your head :D

Well, you get my point. Dreams are a figment of amagination, your amagination.

I hope you do realize that dreams are a way for our brains to process what we have been through that day?

I find that very wrong

My 8 year old bro dreamt he was running thru town being cheaced by a killer and he had a gun, he ran to the top of a random hudge tower and randomly his gun dispeared, he jumped down and he was magicly okay, then he ran into the sewr and woke up.

I doupt he acually did that XD

Try breathing in and then exhaling slowly. Keep focused on one thing while doing this. As long as you concentrate on whatever you chose and concentrate on your reathing, you should feel more relaxed.

Dreams can be utter nonsense, but your brain relieves itself from impressions and emotions that have been experienced through out the day (By some occurence or memory of something). In order to process it all, it lets you dream random stuff. Sometimes it's clear what you dreamed about was due to something that you have seen or experienced the day before. Sometimes it's just a great bunch of randomness that doesn't seem related to the day before. And yeah, ANYTHING can happen in your dreams but you never get hurt.

That's what I'm trying to say

ANYTHING can happen in your dreams, and if you know how to use your mind it can be ANYTHING you want

Sleep with a light on

Try and forget about it

Read a book to get you're mind off of it

Play a game to keep your mind off of it

These solution really do work for me ;O

I never have nightmares, because if I watch something scary, I think about it. I think about it all night long. I think about it untill finally, I am not scared of it any more. Then, I never have to do that with the same thing ever again. I am still scared of some things while in the day or at night, but never when I sleep.

If you watch something scary just remind yourself its not real, its fake and made to generate money thats all.

You should only be scared of real things not fake

What I'm about to say please don't take offense to.I'm only trying to help. Have a erotic fantasy it helps and it's been scientificly proven.
