Gengar's best finish was winning seniors Nats. and he had a lot of luck. Gengar is not top and never was it was just overplayed.

Gengar definitely deserves a top spot, its a great deck.

Anyways, I say BDIF is...Flygon.

EDIT: Also, Palkia Lock is not necessarily Legoes, as they are very different decks.

WOW, a really hard choice, I almost choose a Gengar, but, Dialga doesn't die... I had to choose a Flygon, and decided Stallgon fit this years BDIF... surprised to see no Tang or Sally

You should change it to:BDIF of 2008-2009... i mean... it isnt fair to Glisctomb, Lady Gaga, Derailed, because they havent had a whole year to shine.
Also, I voted for Palkia.

What is derailed?

Ugh, I'm not even going to vote on such an incomplete (and extremely biased) list. You have way too many Gengar variants, all of which fail imo. Gengar is not a tournament winning deck, or at least it shouldn't be. It can be played around rather easily.
You miss other good, consistent decks such as Speedrill and Gyarados, and both of them with Luxray X. From your list, however, I'd say Luxape and Legoes are the 2 best decks. Overall, Speedrill is one of the best decks ever because it's so fast.

gengar would get creamed by anything with pl shiftry like a begginer would use

BDIF has to be Flygon OR Kingdra.

These two decks are so fun to play. When you play with these decks you get a weird tingly feeling lol.

Anyway, the two decks above since release have always had a place in the format. Yes gengar has as well but that is so luck based, I just don't like it and despise anyone who plays it :/

Gengar and Stallgon are winning? Man... and I thought the gym was bad... :/

Yeah the list wasn't as great, I needed more options, my other options would have been
Speedrill
Luxdrill
Gyarados
I mentioned them in my review but I just didn't have enough spots....:(
Also I voted for Gengar only cuz it's never done terrible at anything and has been tier one or two for a while...
I'm shocked IDK why Stallgon is winning, really guys?

Edit-Um no Tang or Sally cuz they've done poorly at cities...(I looked on list and I didn't see maybe more than a win for each of them)

I had to give it to Palkia, not being biased but it has done well and has always been a consistent fun deck to use with a lot of options

Also guys if you voted OTHER please tell me what you voted for so I can tally your votes too :)
Now in the lead is
1. Palkia Lock/Legoes
T-2.Mother Gengar
Stallgon
3. Other

Well, I can say that I will never consider Flygon to be number one. It has no strategy, so it's all about damage buildup or stalling. Put out a Pokemon like Mime Jr from Supreme Victors, and you'll turn a heavy hitter Gon into a staller Gon. Problem solved with Dialga G.

And what's wrong with Gengar? Even in the format, it does well/decently. It has haters, yes, but that' because it's considered the "cheap deck" and some people refuse to accept that it works. At least it doesn't one hit k.o. basics.

Glisctomb scares the Moo Moo Milk out of me, but then again, it's countered by Nidoqueen and Unown G, some of the most commonly teched cards.

Dialga G is DEAD. Plain and simple.

LEGOs is non-existant where I play.

Palkia lock is also non-existant.

Luxpe is gone, because it barely had any strategy in the first place, and Spiritomb and Mr.Mime MT kill all SPs.

Blazeray never existed in the first place.

Salamence: Difficult to get going, but will do well.

Arceus:God Pony can't fight for his life.

Macheap:Going strong against the dying SPs, it will mainly be the BDiF for the juniors.

Gyrados:With the surprise gone, Gyrados is no longer a viable threat. It has too many weaknesses. Before, it was new, so it was harder to find them, but now they're easy to spot.

And for Kingdra, I can't really say, because no one in my area has played it in a while.

Best deck overall during the year would have to be Legos. Dominated the early part of the year when it came out, but has considerably dwindled since. I still think it had the most impact of the year.

dmaster out.

You sir, win the "Biggest nub of the year" award.

Dialga G/Garchomp C? One of the best decks right now?

Also, you must play in a pretty horrible area if you don't see any of that. Dialga G is Gengar's worst matchup by far.

Dialga G isn't Gengar's worst matchup, it's Tyranitar. It isn't even a matchup, it's a slaughter!
