Dialga G isn't Gengar's worst matchup, it's Tyranitar. It isn't even a matchup, it's a slaughter!

Not true at all. Imagine this. Gengar is set up WAY before and already doing big damage, and then-"gasp" you get set up and KO Gengar. But then-miraculously, GENGAR FLIPS HEADS! Now that T-tar that you spent TURNS building up, along w/ all those special darks are gone in a flash. I have beaten T-tar before w/ Gengar, its not a big deal.

^uhhh. hit for 1 SP dark and 1 basic dark+weakness=80/100 (gengar X). then reatreat (with moonlight) to sableye/spiritomb and KO without risking...

Lol. Tyranitar doesn't kill Gengar. You just shuffle Nidoqueen away and start with some Spinning Tails. Then finish Gengar with Dark Uxie.

Dialga Garchomp.
Mother Gengar.
Stallgon.
Are what's best right now.
I haven't seen a Palkia G since I traded mine after Worlds.
Gyarados is decent, but it has it's flaws.
I love that there honestly is not a "best deck" in our current format.

No there is a current BDIF, that deck is Dialga. However, IMO looking at the long run, Palkia edged it out, and will probably be better in the months to come as it is the more flexible of the two cards.

Looking at Nats and Worlds:

Flygon.

Looking at States/Regs:

Palkia lock

So it's a pretty even split IMO.

What do you mean nats was flygon? Nats was dominated by SP. Flygon didn't do very well at nats. Also, just because it was played a lot, doesn't mean it was the BDIF. I still stand by Palka and Dialga being superior to Flygon.

Flygon hasn't been around long enough to prove anything. Gengar is a trash pile. None of the other decks have proved long term that they are capable of winning.

You sir, win the "Biggest nub of the year" award.

Dialga G/Garchomp C? One of the best decks right now?

Also, you must play in a pretty horrible area if you don't see any of that. Dialga G is Gengar's worst matchup by far.

Why thank you! Now where on the Interwebz may I pick this award up?

Dialga G/Garchomp C has yet to step into my territory, and I hardly find that it's a horrible area. We are dominated by Sps, but I have not seen a single Dialga G/Garchomp C. And I'm very sure, because I just attended my local
cities today. Perhaps all that we play are rogue decks, but I really doubt that.

How is Dialga G Gengar's worst Nightmare? Sure, it can block down some of Gengar's friends like Rare Candy, Nidoqueen and Metagross, but how does it trump it? I'm sorry if I sound like a n00b, I simply don't understand what's so scary.

If you don't think Dialga is a scary, then you obviously are in a bad area. A good Dialga is nothing short of a monster to have to take down. YOUR local are doesn't mean squat when looking at the BDIF.

How does Dialga beat Gengar? I was testing the matchup the other day, and won ever single game using almost nothing but Deafen. Trust me, Gengar doesn't handle that all so well.

So basically, Gengar's damage output is far too low for Dialga G, and then Dialga G just removes what took Gengar an hour to do? Sounds like a good combo with Flygon...

I'm changing my vote. Anything that kills Gengar is good to me.

Thanks for clearing that up. I guess my area is not worth anything. Heck, we still have people who use Scizor and Cherrim.

GeChamp . flychamp . and dialga G/garchomp C got my votes ...

but out of them .. i think dialga G paired with garchomp C is good .. and flychamp is better .. i always thought that flygon is a very very versatile card .. due to its multiple abilities ... and variations you can do with him . though IMO, bench shield has become a slight annoyance to extreme attack as it cant attack benched lv.x techs *shaymin x, DGX, heatran x, leafeon x for example* flytrap; another variation of flygon i think can go around with it easily ..

My vote was for Lady GaGa.
I belive it won every cities event in my area so far.Never had a chance to play against one yet though...

^ So getting second at worlds doesn't prove a deck is good? If not I don't know what does.

LOL, my vote Mother Gengar just won a cities yesterday, but I beat him, and he still won, weird tourney but just saying.
I like Lady GaGa I think I'll try that next.
