RE: what's your all around favorite card

Rayquaza*. More than enough said.

Otherwise, as far as Illustrators are concerned, I like Mitsuhiro Arita a lot, his art varies from 3-dimensional to an "existing on paper" look.

RE: best theme deck

ShadowQuake for me......A gengar, A huntail and 2 REACT ENERGY!! but charmeleon deck is not bad with pegeot iin it....

RE: worst stage 2

Sceptile? I think it is good. The 60 damage attack is swift: resistance and metal energy won't be a problem. Its poké-body is good, and you can use boost energy...

The worse stage 2 I think is a tie between Butterfree Jungle,Kabutops fossil and Jumpluff neo 1. The first 2 used a lot o energy in a time ER and SER was common and they had only 70 and 60 HP. Jumpluff from neo 1 strongest attacked caused only 20 damage. If opponent had resistance, no damage. If it had 100 HP, 5 turns to kill it.

From the modified ones (RS on), I think it is that POP 1 Swampert, because, its attack is weak for a Stage 2 and slow because uses two water energy, it has only 100 HP and 2 for retreat. It could never beat a meganium which has resistance and that annoying recovery power.

RE: Worst theme deck

I think the Blaziken deck in EM would be much better if they had combined blaziken with Glalie instead of Manectric and had added some scramble energy to the deck (even being scramble from ex-deoxys)

RE: worst stage 2

Fossil Kabutops was such a waste. It only had 60 HP and required 3 energies to attack for at least semi-decent damage (40 damage, 20 heal). Even a BS Nidoran (M) could KO it with a successful coin flip from Horn Hazard (30 damage, 1 colorless, flip a coin, all or nothing). Pitiful.

RE: worst stage 2

Actually, Absorb costs FFFF. :p

Still bad. And Horn Hazard costs one Grass.

RE: Worst * Pokemon in the TCG

I like the * Hoenn starters. Probably, nobody here faced one of them in a sudden death match! :D

Scary. My opponent started the game and used swoop! teleporter. I couldn't evolve my basic pokémon before he caused 70 damage with 2 energy in turn 2 and won the match.

But this post is about the worst*, so I think it is Gyarados*. I don't like the idea of discarding all the cards of my deck (except one). Too risky. And Lightning weakness is a terrible weakness... If gyaros is koed, i practically lose thegame, unless i have 3 energy recycle systems in my hand.

There are a lot of stupid ***holes in emerald RS,SS,Dragon n more.

I think that most of the cards from those sets have helped decks and on the other hand have not

And note that I bleeped out your profanity

RE: Worst theme deck

Glalie's first attack does 10 damage to all your opponent's pokémon using only one colorless energy. Blaziken does 70 with 3 energy if the defending pokémon has any damage counters, otherwise, it is only 50. If its power is on, the damage is 70 + 40 = 110, plus the lone damage counter already in the defending pokémon, it kills 120 HP pokémon with one hit. Since Blaziken requires 2 fire energy, no boost energy could be applyed. Scramble energy could solve it.

Manectric also caused bench damage, but at the cost of 3 energy. Not viable. Glalie is much more economical.

RE: Worst theme deck

im my opinion... why they continue to do themes decks????... for the newest players?... i think the only reason to buyit are the energys few trainners, and a couple (just 2), rare pokemons (and the art work of the box)... maybe they culd invent a new way to doit...
