*A scene with an Octillery collapsed is lying on the ground* "Here is your scenario: We have 5 suspects, all the first 5 starters (not Totodile). The Octillery tripped on something and suffered from extreme heat. There are vines and burn marks lying around. There is also an isolated splash of water. The most interesting mark is a shape of a pokeball on Octillery's head, which is made of vines and burns. Your job is to look at the crime scene and find the culprit. If you miss, you will be on slop until eliminations. Good luck."

Dec was curious what was going on in the PoV competition. He'd had a taste of a PoV, and it was fun, even though he'd nearly gotten killed multiple times. He started looking for a good place to view the PoV. First, he grabbed a pencil and a pad of paper from his room. He went upstairs, and through looking around, he found a secret way up to the attic. He looked around. The attic was dusty, and it looked as if no one had been in it for a long time. He saw a window. Perfect! Dec thought. There weree some vents to the outside. Even better! I can hear what is going on! He got out his pad of paper and started writing. There was an Octillery lying on the ground. I could hear the detective telling the competitors that the PoV was about finding the starter, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Chikorita, or Cyndiquil, who did this. So both Bulbasaur and Chikorita are known to have Vine Whip in the anime. Cyndaquil and Charmander could have caused the burn marks. The splash of water probably comes from Squirtle, but it's isolated so it cannot be used to convict.
But the something that Octillery tripped over could have been Cyndaquil, which explains the intense heat. And the vines could have come from anywhere; usually when a Grass Pokemon uses Vine Whip, the vines are part of the Pokemon. Therefore, my prime suspect is Cyndaquil.
