Black and White Emerging Powers!

The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the set size. Then again I'm never satisfied with Pokemon set sizes. Not only are most the cards unplayable in most sets, it just allows for too many cookie cutter decks. Most top decks may vary in 3-5 card differences due to techs. Otherwise its all the same. Part of me knows these little annoyances are why I've switched mostly to Magic with their 150+ card sets every set and no two decks are ever the same.

The sell sheet that said we were only getting 25 "New" Pokémon (which just means 25 Pokémon not in BW1). There is no room in Emerging Powers for any Red Collection cards with this restriction. Maybe Meowth, but nothing else.

of course, they could also reprint some of the errata'ed cards like rare candy and defender to keep everything up to date.
we might also be gettting those japanese pizza hut promos and cd promos of the monkey trio

There are also promo Gigalith, Klinklang, and Cinccino that could be used instead of creating new ones. In addition, the Darumaka Pizza LA promo was already confirmed for the EP Collector's Album Box, so the only two left are Axew and Scraggy.

YESH!!! I love how they keep the japanese numbering. Its much better than rares, uncommons, commons, trainers, and altra rares. Its much easier to make/find cards for decks this #ing, since i keep my cards in # oder. C:

This set isn't the best, it really only has Beartic and Pokemon Catcher, everything else isn't good. :(
 
well, we still have those english exclusive holos

they may give us some new promising cards.
specially how krookodile has a ability
 
I hear there's gonna be a scolipede starter deck and a krookodile deck does anyone know what's gonna be in them besides the new scolipede and krookodile cards?

They would put the game breaking card in this horrible set lol. Like how they did with Call of Legends and Lost World.
 
Hopefully they add some stuff from Red Collection into the set. I doubt it, but it would be nice. The only thing worth while out of EP is Pokémon Catcher, obviously, and to a less extent Beartic is nice.

Your list is a bit incomplete... are you aware that there are 3 promos that happen to be Simisage, Simisear, and Simipour? I bet they will include those to go with their basic stages...
I actually made a tentative list myself... I might post it later...

now if you have something a little more complete, please post any japanese exlusives/promos. we probably will get them in this set
 
i kinda want a druddigon card from the new expansion with its ability it sounds like either way your doing damage and obviously alot of ppl or gonna want poke catcher
 
thats not going to happen as were not getting any Red collection cards in Emerging Powers

we do have a slight chance to get these japanese promos in our set (corect me if im wrong):
druddigon &
emolga - 2011 world qualifier

and
sawk
throh - from the mini binders in japan

and that will make exactly the announced "25 new pokemon" in our set
