Booster Pack Price Hike?

I was the same Target earlier today and noticed they changed the price of the booster packs back to 4.19. I guess they just goofed on the price.

Strangely enough, I go to Toys R Us to get some packs sometimes and they've shot the prices up to £3.49 (they only store the last two releases if I remember correctly so they were the prices for XY and XY - Flashfire). I remember when they were only £2.00 a pop when I was younger and I used to buy them a lot.

For anyone who is interested, Walgreens actually sells theirs for cheaper: 3.49. I was in there last night and noticed they had (a few) packs.

Might be just dumb luck but I've had pretty terrible pulls (even for Legendary Treasures) from Walgreens or Rite Aid. I feel like they get leftovers from other retailers but I could just be unlucky.

I highly doubt retailers have a nation wide pack weighing scheme going on. Lol.

You could be like me, and just feel like you have bad luck with pulls, everywhere.

As someone who weighs single packs to buy from stores (( I usually only buy half or a small handful of scaled ones so please no freaking out. I'm also not rich so yeah. )) I haven't seen a lack of clearly holo packs here so I think either someone bought a bunch of weighed packs or it's just not so great luck.

I remember that too, they were good times but now it's almost a rip off. It's the price increase which sees more people scaling/weighing packs to get their moneys worth, only to ruin the fun of it for others.

I only restarted collecting a couple a months back, so first I went to ASDA to get some packs and they were £4.00 which is simply outrageous; double what they used to be! Then I went to WHSmith to get some packs, only to find they were £4.00 as well... I was going to give up collecting before I had even started :(

Toys R Us are probably the best place for me to get them too for £3.49 each, however they haven't had any Pokemon cards in for the past 3 weeks. So it's good to hear that your store has got Flashfire in. Looks like I'll be going on Thursday to get me some goodies!

The walmart out here in Colorado has boosters at 3.99, and the 3 booster pack/promo at 9.99. Pretty good deals either way. Also, Walgreens has them for about 3.40 here as well.
