RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

I tried to take a pic but the picture are so bad you can hardly even tell. But I will try to get a picture up ASAP once I can get a good camera

Do you have paint shop pro? If you do you can photo shop the photos to look better than they really are XD.:)

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

Recently, I opened an Emerging Powers pack, and I pulled a reverse holo Pokemon Catcher. However, the card was much lighter than it's supposed to be. Is this a common error with holos and how does it affect the value of the card? I can provide a pic if necessary.

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

I've seen a few EP Rev holo trainers like that.

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

I've seen many cards like that, holos, reverses, and regular cards across a bunch of different sets, mainly BW-on, but some from as early as DP. I'm pretty sure they don't affect the value of the cards, as long as the rest of it is good (no scratches, tears, folds/bends/creases, etc.)

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

Sounds like those cards were printed on a dying toner ink cartridge XD. I don't think that would affect the price since most trainer cards are only worth 50 cents to $1.00. That is an average price for an unlimited trainer card. Usually XD. They are only worth more if the are a promo or a pre release. XD.:)

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

I guess you missed the part where Pokemon Catcher is at least 10 dollars, if not more.

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

Is that a promo? If so then I did not miss that XD. I said most trainer cards are only worth 50 cents to a dollar since they are easy to get. I did not know the new trainers were more expensive though XD. If so that's news to me XD.:)

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

I said I got it from a pack. The reason Catcher is so expensive is because it's one of the best cards in the format, and many decks run 4 of it.

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

Oh ok XD. Yeah most trainers are not that expensive. Most don't breach the $2.00 mark for the most part. There are others out there that are more expensive but for the most part no XD. LOLz.:)

It's a little hard to see because I'm using my webcam, (I don't have a usable camera. It looks mirrored like because of my webcam, I don't know why it does that.)
If you look closely at the holo part of Zapdos, then you'll see that some of the holo is cut off.

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

It is not cut off. The dark ink is covering the holo.

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

Is this the same for my Zapdos since I have the English version? I can't check the card right now but I have this card as I had asked about this card in an earlier misprint question. Thanks XD.:)

EDIT: Why is the card kind of printed backwards? I know it is on webcam but when you show it to the camera it should not be backwards XD.:)

A high majority, if not all, webcams take pictures backwards; just like mirrors. The card isn't printed backwards at all.

Why do they show the cards backwards when showing to a webcam? That does not make sense. The way it looks in the picture makes it look like a German card but if you look at it closer it is a backwards English card. Weird. I wonder why this happens XD.:)

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

It's because webcams act as a mirror.
But if you video someone, you show up correctly to them, but backwards to yourself, because you are looking into a mirror.

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint.

have you seen a pokeon card that is like a shiny silver on the fron(face side) and the origonal backing on the back card?? its not fake.

Do you have a picture or know where an example is? I'm having trouble understanding what you're trying to describe.
