Cars!!!

Sigh... My mum and dad have a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Previa. They're ok, I guess.

I'm trying to save up for three hundred more quid so I can get an ancient Nissan...
 
I drive 2010 Toyota Highlander.
The wife drives 2008 Scion tC.
Car payments are fun.
 
Up until recently, all I had was a 1990 Oldsmobile Regency (go ahead and laugh, I wouldn't blame you :p)

Just last week, I upgraded to an '02 Dodge Neon. Still nothing special, but coming from what I had before...quite a difference. I just wish I was as lucky as EPM, getting a convertible handed over to me! 8D

My dream car would either be that or a Volkswagen Beetle...hehe.
 
1 Who ever said you have to be 18 to drive in europe your wrong its 17.
2 My dad has a truck (don't know).
3 My mum has a Ford Focus.
4 i want a halo warthog Ford Mondeo (used to my families car).
 
when i get my first car, I'll get a red Corvette or Camaro. when I get more money, I'd get a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

When you get your Corvette or Camaro, please tell me how much your insurance costs?
 
Believe me my sister bought a Charger SXT by herself and the insurance is pretty hefty, even if the car only cost $10,799.

Thats not cheap you know. lol

And Shadowsniper: Good luck with that. Camaro and Corvette are very pricy cars. Not to mention they are also high performance cars which means insurance will be through the roof. There is a reason you only see old people driving them.
 
My dad drives an '06 Blue Toyota Corolla CE and my mom drives a Silver Chrysler PT Cruiser. Not sure on the model year on her car. My sister drives a '99 Maroon Ford Contour.

My parents can't afford to pay insurance on 4 cars so I'll need to wait until my sister can pay for her car insurance for herself before I can buy a car. My dad will probably persuade me to buy a Toyota like he unsuccessfully tried to do with my mom.

But, whatever. A car is a car.

btw 10 grand for a car is not bad at all considering prices these days.

the camaro and corvette won't be a problem. i hope to be a surgeon so you know.
 
It IS bad if you dont have a good job. And sorry, minimum wage wont cut it.
As for your job, you "hope" to be? I HoPe you get it then.
 
Shadoworganoid: shadowsniper's right, a lot of good quality sedans and whatnot are around that price range and my sister worked for my dad for $8.25 an hour for 2 years to pay for it. But now she works at Carabba's for $10.50. So, she's even trying to pay her friend to wire in green LCD lights around the seats that turn on when the door opens. Frankly, I think she should wait until she gets that Challenger or Camaro she always wanted.:p

Oh, and there are some people at my school who drive nice cars like a Camaro, an Audi R8 (?!?!?), and a Challenger, so it's possible if you're willing to pay for it (or can for that matter).

My first car will probably be some old rusty nissan micra or something. Not too fussed cuz of the insurance and im pretty sure il wreck it.

My dream car would have to be:

Aston Martin DBS
Lamborghini gallardo
Audi R8

Probably would get the r8 cuz its the cheapest out of the 3 but no one knows what the future holds :).
 
My dream cars:
Bugatti Veyron
Aston Martin Vantage
Audi R8 GT3
Rolls Royce Phantom

Out of all of those, i would have to say i would want the Bugatti Veyron the most
 
Trust me you dont want the Bugatti Veyron. It's deathly fast, ridiculously expensive, and not even street legal so you'd have to take it to a track.
