Pokemon Creepy or weird aspects of Pokemon

This is a thread for discussion of creepy, weird, or disturbing things in the pokemon games. For example: cubone wearing the skull of it's mother. If anything in pokemon unnerves you or makes you think "what?", you can talk about it here.

Anything involving the breeding process seems a bit odd after too much thought. I mean, even an evolution mating with it's preevo is inter-species. And some go inter-kingdom (assuming that's how Pokemon are classified), like Wailord and Sunkern.
Truthfully, if you overthink anything related to the game mechanics, they're pretty weird.

I don't understand why Blastoise is classified as a shellfish. Last time I checked, a turtle/tortoise is not an invertebrate.

acreus was born in an egg when there was nothing.....if there was nothing how did the egg get there?how was arceus created if there was nothing to create him?

It's simple, really. Arceus is God.

At least to Pokemon...?

Same question can be asked for God, really.
I find the Lavender Town music creepy, and also te way that in every tower, there are two old women that seem to live there.

Anything tha has to do with Mr. Mime. That guy is just creepy. *shudders*

Hypno, Its Green sprite:

coupled with its FireRed pokedex entry:
"It carries a pendulum-like device. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized." makes it seem like a paedophile.

If you think that's scary, have you ever heard Hypno's song?

The creepiest thing I've ever seen related to Pokemon would probably reading those creepypasta stories. The Hypno poem, Come Follow Me, and the Pokemon Black one all creeped me out.

I know for a fact that -
Shedinja has a crack in it's shell in the back. If you stare into it, you will lose your soul.
If a charmanders flame on its tail is burned out, it will die.
Mew is an embryo.
Banette is a disarded doll that seeks its former owner.
Ash is in a coma :D

  • In the Pokemon Adventures manga, an arbok was chopped in half, and died.
  • If a Farfetch'ed loses its leek, it dies.
  • The reason Cubone always cries, is because its mother died. Actually, the whole fact that Cubone has the skull of its mother is really creepy.
  • The Ghost version of curse involves sticking a nail into that Pokemon's head!?!?!?
  • In Black and White, there's a woman on the second floor of Celestial Tower, who asks you to battle because she has a strong Pokémon. When you defeat her, she says "... The Pokémon is no longer with me." Does that mean you just killed her Pokemon?
  • In Black and White, there is a bridge that lies in between Route 16 and 15 called Marvelous Bridge. At the end, you will see a man and a woman. When you go to talk to the woman, she will DISAPPEAR RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!
  • The Lavender Town music in the original Red and Green versions was more high pitched and spooky than in the English releases.

The music is meant to be sad, not scary. Listen to the melody, not the high pitched harmony that you find creepy.

Easy explanation, she was doing a Nuzlocke run :p

@Hatman
*Thumbs up on that one*

Also, I read somewhere that in HGSS after you defeat Giovanni, he apparently jumps off of a waterfall?

I know, but the Japanese games have a whole different sound. Combined with the creepypasta and a late night, who can't find that creepy?
Even the English version definitely brings out the sadness in you, which is creepy in itself how it can do that.
