Dead decks?

I was saying just for Pokemon. I'm assuming Luxray Lv.X is about $60, Garchomp Lv.X is about $8 (promo), regular Garchomps are like $5, regular Luxray is $8-ish, Crobats are like $2, Bronzong is $1. Assuming you run 2 of everything exept Bronzong, that = $167. This is just what they went for around my area. Notice that Zorua said just for Pokemon. I assume that the T/S/S might be around $40-$50, because the only T/S/S of notable value are Poketurn and Cyrus's Conspiracy.

A MTC without trainers would be about $175, not too much more than that.

No, the Cyrus engine was expensive, and you are forgetting Uxie/Azelf/tons of techs.

Anyways, back on topic!

Back on topic. Don't discuss the prices of the cards in the decks (both are expensive though...). Discuss this over profile comments, or make a thread discussing the price of decks.

It only has 120 hp. Can only hit benched pokemon and requores u too either play fir eng or prism eng

It hits 30 to the active, and 30 to two benched Pokemon. And that's not counting what you can do with the ability Chandie in the same turn.

Plus, if need be, he can hit for a solid 80 damage, and as stated, makes your Durant Match (witch is one of your hardest matches) winnable.

However, on the flip side of all this, I think Chandie as a deck in general looses playability because of it's comparative slowness, and the rise in the HP ceiling.

It still has great matchups against Eel decks due to the vulnerability of Tynamos.
It loses to things like MTC, and maybe Reshiboar.

That's a large portion of the meta. Also, it is pretty easily to get out eels, even under trainer lock.

When I would play Chadey, I would always target the tynamos. Not only are they quick prizes, but also stops the deck dead.
Too bad Chadey is a dead deck though. I enjoyed it's short presence in the meta, but he just can not hold up to the huge HP basics and the constant OHKOs. Just when he gets an amazing looking secret card too.

I don't believe Chandy is dead at all. The only real threats to it are Zekrom-EX and Reshiram-EX. However, Reshiram is hardly playable, and you can just Luring Light the Emboars if they do play it. ZekEels can get pretty bad, but every deck has a bad matchup. And besides, if worst comes to worst, it can just do what everything else is doing and add Terrakion.

True dat.
I lost to a Chandyplume using ZekEels.
Basically, after losing a few prizes, they used a Lampent to pull Eelektrik out, when all my DCE were attached or discarded already, and benched an Aipom (the one that moves energy away from the Defending Pokemon). I was locked forever. GG

Shaymin drop hard retreat?

More on topic, Chandy is really slow comparatively now. It was slow before, but now the meta is even faster. MTC, Eelzone and Durant do well against it as do Zek/Resh ex if they don't get bad draws. What favorable matchups does it have left post-ND?

Well, it gains another Chandy, which imo is pretty good with the deck. Other than that, I still think it's just a solid deck. I think it should be run without trainer lock now, but that's just me.

Chandy has a great matchup against Eelzone, it's pretty good against CTM, and it can beat Zek/Resh. It's not like it auto-loses to those cards. The only deck you list it struggles against is Durant.

Truth. I've had some struggles against Chandelure decks, especially if they get good starts. Absol might be a worthwhile tech in basic decks.

No, it just gets run over by MTC. Probably a 10-90 matchup.
You just have no answer to Tornadus swarms.

Tornadus 2hkos it, you 2hko Tornadus... It isn't that bad.
