Decks after the new format

Also, I saw Emboar's power and it seems awesome. No more Power Spray so it's going to be awesome.
You can't even Power Spray his ability anyway...

Really? Interesting..anyways, jumpluff, donphan, and tank decks would be the new format.. Possibly a lot of rogue decks around now that there'd be no counters to them like LuxChomp.

Also i don't think rogue is going to be that good, i think LostGar has a big edge next format over every deck except arceus, b/c it doesn't worry about 2HKO which almost everything else does. I think there will be more rogue than usual but tiers will be created after BR's for sure i'd say and since the overall format will be more diverse it will be tougher for rogues to do good(it won't be just SPs etc.)

^it will be LostGar and counters for most of the format and then a bunch of different rouge. that is what i say

Emboar will most likely say "Only on fire Pokemon"
so the more viable option will be Gatr and Ninja Otter.

It was the same way with Feraligatr (Prime).
I highly doubt they would allow it to drop energy on any type of Pokemon.

@TylerTyphlosion: Feraligatr Prime's Power is completely unchanged from the Japanese wording. Because of that, I highly doubt the new Emboar will be changed to focus only on Fire-type Pokemon. There is no real need to change its Ability whatsoever.

yes...i said it will be slower thus higher energy cost thus being able to attach energies to anyone isnt a big deal. unless you are using a pure fire deck it deos matter anyway because you still have to get the other necessary energies for the attack

i think some of the better decks would be
lostgar of course
t-tar
magnezone/feraligatr

In an RR on format, Kingdra will be BDIF, IMO, maybe Donphan, it all depends on what gets released in the Black and White sets to come, also Jumpluff will make a comeback.

Yanmega/Umbreon might just be pretty gold.

or let's consider reninculus (spelling?) with that damage swap thing with turtwig GL if it will be a RR-on format. Combo with a donphan prime EQ. priceless.

I liked your Yanmega/Umbreon build storm, but I see a straight Yanmega swarm being much more efficient. Next format. It will outspeed most decks and will still be able to retreat when Pokemon Catcher is used on it. Its speed will be boosted since so many decks will be requiring so many energies to hit for very much. I see it as being better than other speed decks which will be in the format in so many more ways too. Donphan will be the only other fast and hard hitter(that I see.) With Mega, you have No need for energy attachment and it deals total hand disruption.

The top decks will be as follows:
Teir 1:
Arceus
Jumpluff w/ help (magnezone)
Magnezone
vileLostgar
Maybe mismageus (sorry on spelling) vileplume
T-tar Prime
Umbreon w/ help
Donphan

Teir 2:
Steelix
Scizor
Kingdra
I think you guys get the picture.

this is all true!

But, I was just thinking about the new vilemagius decks that will most likely replace the soon to be out of format vilegar decks. Put a special dark on umbreon and you can one hit KO a mismagius with moonlight fang! It also totally puts the brakes on donphan, and magnezone, hits lost gar for weakness, and lets you stall out until you set up against scizor/steelix prime. Even arceus lvl X will hate umbreon if it will be an RR-on, SV-on or AR-on format. ^^

As people will use more often Spiritomb as a starter because of the stage 1 and 2 decks, the trainer lock problem will be an even greater body, with the lose of BTS. With this going on, people will not be able to use bug catcher to disrupt and use rare candy to get the stage 2 rolling. If your opponent is slow down, why not bring a vileplume to keep the lock? Therefore, trainer lock will rule, because of the lose of BTS and the unplayable Rare candy.

But, because of that, people will mostly play starters to keep the speed.
some are mentionned below:
spiritomb
smeargle
jirachi
skarmory
even the promo Dialga SV box
