RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Need More Art

Why do I never check this thread.

Amazing stuff man. You put a lot of emphasis on simple poses, and it really shows off in your work. I even like the style of your sketches! Please keep it up, I appreciate the amount of effort you put into creating and uploading these drawings.

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Need More Art

Awesome Scizor pose! (Typhlo in sig 'cause I like like it, aww) I wish I could do anatomy as well as you >.>

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Need More Art

The scizor art is a new kind of cool!!! It's so graphic and sharp. Keep up the great work!

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Need More Art

I really like the Scizor pic, though at first I didn't see anything in the background. Did you intend the background details to be that dark?

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Need More Art

I like the Scizor too!

A wild wave of comments appeared!

@ShadowLugia: Yeah why do you never check? >:[

Thanks a lot, I appreciate you and other people taking time to comment on my work. Oh, and also post more because when you post, everyone posts.

@Blui129: Anatomy can be tricky, but it's one of those things that you need to practice every day on, even if it's just a doodle on a sketch pad or on your hand, it contributes. Do that and I am sure you would do better than me ;]

@Grumpigfarmer: Thanks! I hope to make the Scizor piece a little more than just block colours, so it's a little bit away from finishing yet.

@Nekoban Ryo: Background details? They...they may just be things I forgot to rub out XP

@saurs'pokefan: Awesome dude! Thanks!

@teegrun: Simple comments like yours and saurs'pokefan's I appreciate a lot! Thanks for the encouragement. :]

Considering I had to reply to these as fast as I possibly could, I had to do a small update to go with it, some mugshots of an Arceus below.

I need to work on smaller canvases.

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Need More Art

I really like the expression in the 3rd sketch. The edges and points are smoothed out, and the eyes give it a very stoic feeling.

And yeah, I'll make sure to post more often. ;3

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Need More Art

Thanks for the feedback!

Look what I've been learning to do :D

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - CLOOOOODS!

Cloods? Did you mean clouds?

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - CLOOOOODS!

Oh. My. GLOB!

Dude, I LOOOOOOVE your stuff. I relate to almost every piece, I love your experimentation with styles; I especially enjoy the style used in the Paras/Hitmonchan/Haunter (Ghastly?) pieces. Great sketches; your Geth and Krogan drawings are nearly spot-on!

Definitely givin dis thread a +watch ;D

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - CLOOOOODS!

@saurs'pokefan: They are Clouds.

@Spammy: Thanks a lot man! The other Pokemon was an Arbok xp
I'm hoping to get my many sketches in my sketch book up some time but I have no way of doing that right now. Hope to hear from you again. ;]

Meanwhile, while doodling, I came out with this!

Currently testing what I can do with it.

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - CLOOOOODS!

Personally, I think if it was smaller it would be an excellent addition to a logo of some sort. ^_^

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - CLOOOOODS!

Spammy, you were right, I stole your idea and made it into the new thread banner! With added Lugia!

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Maybe this time I can stick with a forum banner...

The clouds look really cool. Is it just going to be a standalone piece or are you going to use it as a background for something?

The Ho-oh pic is pretty neat. The logo/banner also looks pretty nice. It just bothers me how "official" the Lugia pic looks compared to Ho-oh. The style just doesn't really fit...

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Maybe this time I can stick with a forum banner...

If you wish to survive until the next day you will remove the green dot between Lugia and Ho-oh's head. *srsbsns*

I agree with Neko, while the two pieces are wonderful individually, they don't really fit well together. I personally like the banner, it would just be even better if the Ho-oh was like Sugimori Ho-oh or the Lugia was like Delta Ho-oh.

Personally I think the Lugia should be remade as something more your style. ^_^

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Maybe this time I can stick with a forum banner...

@Nekoban Ryo: That piece in particular is going to be a stand alone, I'll update that when I have made any real progress or if I am going to use it as a background for anything.

@Spammy: Done aaaaannnnd...done.

I hear the both of you, it will be update once I manage to draw Lugia as good as the Ho-oh. Thanks!

Meanwhile, in non-plagiarism land.

I like the attempt at perspective, with more practice you'll do better and better

RE: Delta's Magical Art Factory - Maybe this time I can stick with a forum banner...

Thanks a lot! I went to go back and finish that piece today but...I didn't save the PSD...One of these pictures is what the colour was like before I changed a few things and cleared up the lines. I want to finish it so I will go back and redraw it...unless the PSD is somewhere I haven't looked...

Oh, would you look at that, I did use the clouds for something!

I really like the latest additions! The way you colored, outlined and shaded the Drifblim piece is great. Especially with the background that goes along with it, it blends in well with it. I am also taking a liking to the banner and the first piece above. One thing I am interested in seeing is for the Lugia in the top-left corner to be colored in like the Ho-oh on the bottom. And additionally, I would also like to see the final appearance of the first piece.
