Can ditto stay as the copied pokemon after ditto knocks out the copied pokemon?
Correct, and if not already stated (This was kind of confusing), If ditto is say, rampardos, takes 120 damage, and kills rampardos, ditto will be knocked out if your oponent sends out a pokemon with a maxinum of 120 hp or less.Lou Cypher said:No. The opponent will NOT take a prize. Ditto does NOT return to its 60 HP self once he KO's something - he IMMEDIATELY becomes whatever your opponent sends out. The reason many people seem to think there is some in between moment is that people tend to be slow on sending out whatever will be next, but there isn't a time in between the KO and the sending up a new defending Pokémon, no time for Ditto to revert back to its old self at least.
Lord Atmo said:On another ditto note, when it says "You still need the necessary energy to use each attack." Does that also include the TYPE of energy or can I attach any sort of energy from my hand to Ditto and it will be sufficient to execute the attack? Since you have no idea what element your opponent is playing and thus would not be able to always have the same type of energy on hand.
