Do you like Heart Gold Soul Silver?

Well prime donphan is going to be popular no doubt about that. Charizard will be played a bit more with ninetales coming out for draw support. But Im thinking about making a deck that most of us tcg players have forgotten about. Infernape, yea sure make fun of me but I think it could do better now. Remember the days when we had delcatty from crystal guardians? Well that's exactly what ninetales from HGSS is. Forts right in andbthrows energy in your discard pile quicker. Combo that with 3 or 4 Felicities and your good to go.

Feraligatr Prime HG collection will be pretty popular aswell because it brings back the ever popular rain dance deck from the start of the game

Feraligatr Prime
Donphan Prime
Ninetails
Jumpluff

And the fact Charizard will become a popular deck is what's being hyped about HG/SS
Also a format rotation will follow some time after it so I look for forward to see what new combos come out of that.

I just remembered, alot of decks will be helped alot by blissey prime in this set.

Yah, low energy decks like kingdra, speedrill, and gyarados will all be able to play blissey prime effectively.

Personally I think HGSS is terrible. The only pokemon that are worth using in this format are Jumpluff, Feraligator prime, great blissey and ninetales, lugia legend, and maybe donaphan, and maybe raichu.

Blissey Prime won't be in the set most likely. There'll only be 6 Primes in the set, and Crobat and Blissey seem most likely to not make the cut (No Johto base form, no promos in Japan).
I think Typhlosion can be interesting too if Jumpluff rises up. Jumpluff MURDERS any Gatr-based deck, so Typhlosion can come back out to play.

I personal have mixed feeling about the set, I think it is a good set (starmie ect.) but I don;t think it is as good as some of the set it is going to take out of play. I see how much I like it when I see what the play cut is. Hey, does anyone know the play cut?

Starmie good? You do know there's a card that does the same but for 30 times the number of energy right? Oh, and theres him only being able to do so from himself, but still.

As most people I expect a PL+ format at the start of the next season which will be right after the forth Legend/HGSS set is out here.

I think starmie is good with Feraligatr Prime. It can do a lot of damage. There are a lot of other good cards in the set too I was just giving an example.

Charizard will be the Jumpluff counter, Jumpluff will be the gater counter, and Gatr will be the Charizard counter. THEN:

Donphan is the Ampharos counter, Ampharos is the Gatr counter, and Gatr is a great Donphan counter.

Donphan will be HUGE. Flygon will pretty much die down, thanks to Ursaring...so...

This is true, because of DCE. However, rogue Garchomp(SV) will be great, and then Promogon will be great, and Ursaring is a monster, and will beat the SNOT outta Flygon. Garchomp C is the same really...
