donks... why?

What do you mean exactly by donking. A mistrevious "donk" and a machamp "donk" are very different. Please explain.

Donking:
The game starts.
You go first and can't do anything.
I go second. I win.

Basically the player who goes second (or 1st if you have Sableye or Misdreavus) wins on the first turn of the game because the first player has only 1 basic. Not getting a Prize card win, but getting a bench out win.

So it's like this:
Sableye Donk: You start with Duskull, and you go first. You can't do anything, at all. No Call energy, nothing. You can't do anything but pass seeing as you can't play trainers.I have Sableye as my active. Thanks to his body, I go first regardless. I attach a dark energy, attack, his attack does 40 since Duskull has lower hp than Sableye, it does an extra 10 to weakness, I knock out your Duskull, and you have no bench, so I win.

Misdreavus Donk: I start with Misdreavus as my active and go first or second. I lay down Darkrai MD to put you to sleep. Attach Psychic to Misdreavus, and do Nightmare feast to knock out your one and only basic. Game goes to me.

Machamp Donk: You have 1 basic, no call, no unown G. You pass your turn. I go second. I rare candy my machop to machamp, attach energy, and do take out to K.O your one and only basic. Game goes to me.

Get the point?

I knew that, but I think donking can go farther. I think nintendo should make cards more strategic, like cards that set up future donks, maybe "Discard up to three energy from your active pokemon. Your opponent can not bench pokemon in empty slots equal to the Amount of energy discarded for say.. 5 turns. Thats what I want to see. Not just "OMg so-and-so can do 250 damage". High power cards make the game boring.

An energy cost of two for Machamp and Kingdra's "OMG SMASH YOUR FACE" attacks would really go a long way. The makers of the card game seem to have forgotten that Rare Candy exists. :(

I refuse to ever run Kingdra or Machamp, because they make my blood boil.
