we are in a clearing in a forest with half a piece of paper saying we have until evening to get out there is fog along the edge of the forest shadowy figures in the fog and a mysterious humming noise from below us anyone who tries to explore the area goes in a circle without realizing it we have a compass with the numbers 12, 9, 6 and 3 that keeps spinningOoooh~ What sseemss to be going on here? Can ssomeone give me a ssummary?

I'm glad that I was right about something being interesting with the rock! I was hoping for a cupcake but a compass will work. Maybe the compass can help me FIND new cupcakes, and then everything will be great, or at least the things that can be solved by eating delicious cupcakes.

@Keeper of Night , I shall ask to borrow the compass, and see what happens if I walk/bounce around the perimeter of the clearing with it.
It will be difficult to keep the compass steady given my constant bouncing, but if it helps us come closer to cupcakes and farther away from scary monsters it will be worth the trouble.
