Oooh *bounces even higher*

I'm like 90% sure the needle slowing down was because of something interesting and not the compass getting confused because of my bouncing. So the needle spins faster in the center and slows down the farther you bounce out, just like Spoink tires and slows down the farther out she bounces!

*eats an acorn because she doesn't have any cupcakes*

@Keeper of Night I will go a little closer to the center of the valley, eat an acorn for luck, and bounce high into the air, watching the compass all the time as I go up and down to see if the spinning needle's speed changes on the way up and on the way down. I wonder if something is buried down there, if the spinning might change depending on how far it is from the ground.

Hey, I'm just using it to find directions.

I can't say what everyone else is doing with it... such things are beyond a humble spoink's ability to understand.
im literally digging there right now

it is nearly time for me to slumber
before I nap, as a mage I'd like to take a closer look at this symbol @Keeper of Night.

*i emit a dim not-very-dazzling gleam to the symbol and examine it*

@Keeper of Night - Using my ghost skills, I try to slip beneath the earth and see if there are any hidden passageways or caverns. Oh, and once I am bored I pop into Bagon's hole and scare the bejeesus out of him :p

... There's something ironic to be had in a Bagon needing the help of a Flying-type, but I can't quite put my metaphorical finger on it.

Y'know, when I said work on it, I didn't mean that kind of work. Dx

Neither did I, but ambiguity seems to be more in the GM's favor than ours. Dx

Ok, try and see if you can feel any disruptive magnetic pulse around it. If you do, uh, use your magnetic powers thing. Not for that kind of thing, btw.

*Sigh* Do you want to get the Bagon out of the hole? somebody dig around the rim of the hole to form a spiral ramp. Once they reach the bottom, then they can both just walk out.

refusing to give up I force myself up shouting with passion and rage at my failure to get through and use dragon claw to burrow farther
Bagon tries to dig, but his tired arms prevent him from going much further. The progress he does make simply causes more mud to fall into where he was digging already.

@Keeper of Night, I'd like to dig a hole in the center of the clearing, where the needle spins the most rapidly.
Salandit walks over to where Bagon has collapsed in his hole, and jumps inside. He continues digging, and makes further progress. The mud on the walls is easily kicked up and out by Salandit's stronger legs.

[OOC- Forgot to mention in my last post @Keeper of Night, but you should probably change the "Sign-ups" in the title to "Active", to make it clear the game started. I kind of missed a whole day's worth of activity because I didn't think anything important was going on and we were still waiting for a few more sign ups.]
Fixed?

Cutiefly takes a closer look at the torn note's back.

Duskull phases underground. He then realizes it's very dark when there is nothing to provide light in the middle of dense earth, and rises back to the surface.
He then attempts to scare Bagon, but Bagon is too tired to react.

Ahhhh! I know what that is. I have it, it's um, um, um, a very strange but mark for a Trapinch, like, wow, look at it, convex when it should be concave. Yes, indeed things are strange here. Looks proud of itself for essentially doing nothing.

I made an action here, just quoting it again in case it was missed.

I'd offer to help Bagon get out of the hole, but I'm too busy bouncing right now and despite the many, many cupcakes I've been eating I don't weigh enough to pick him up and would probably just get stuck. Perhaps digging is a promising solution

Also if we get bored we can play volleyball with my pearl, as long no one breaks it or strikes it in anyway, and it stays on my head for the entire time.

OK that would be a pretty short game of volleyball. But I'm still offering!
