*Shade looks at the sky.*
Shade- "It's almost dark. Let's get some sleep."
*Moonlight yawns and lies down. Shade curls up around her. They're both asleep in minutes. Eclipse walks over to MysticWater.*
Eclipse- "Mom, what's wrong?"

 

[Sleepy]

MysticWater looks at him with sad eyes."It's..hard to explain." She lies down, but didn't fall asleep.

 

[Ziggoratt999]

*Eclipse lies down next to her.*
Eclipse- "It's not like we're pressed for time."

 

[Sleepy]

"I..I...Only have hours left.." she murmered.

 

[Ziggoratt999]

Eclipse- "What do you mean?"

 

[Sleepy]

"The next time the moon sets..The Vanguard will no longer be the Vanguard...And I have to take his place," she whispered.

 

[Ziggoratt999]

Eclipse- "But... Then you won't be able to see us anymore... You can't leave us, we need you!"

*Shade's ear twitches. His eyes snap open. He stands up and looks at MysticWater.*
Shade- "Did I hear wrong, or did you say that you're leaving?"

 

[Sleepy]

"Yes..Very soon too.." she said.

 

[Ziggoratt999]

Shade- "No. You're not leaving. Your family just got back together, and your deal with the Vanguard isn't tearing it apart again."

 

[Sleepy]

"No..No matter what I do I'll become the Vanguard..When he loses his Vanguard powers, I die. Now, there is one last thing for me to do."

Shade- "I'm more powerful than him now. I can make it so you don't have to do that. You are NOT tearing yourself from your family. Your kids need you, and OShade needs you. You and I both know that he'd easily kill himself if he found out that you were dead and couldn't come back."

 

[Sleepy]

MysticWater didn't listen and ran out of the cave.

*Shade shakes his head and runs after her.*
Shade- "MysticWater, listen to me! Don't do this! Let me talk to the Vanguard, I'll see if I can do anything."

 

[Sleepy]

MysticWater fell to the ground with a loud thump, sending dust everywhere."It's..happening sooner than I thought.AHH!" She screamed in pain."No, there is one more thing I must do," and she teleported away.

 

[Ziggoratt999]

*Shade growls and teleports to the Vanguard's realm.*
Shade- "Vanguard! I need to speak with you NOW!"

 

[Sleepy]

The Vanguard turned to Shade and weezed."What...Is it?"

 

[Ziggoratt999]

Shade- "Let me take her place. You didn't give MysticWater a choice, but you told me that I'm more powerful than you ever were or will be. Let me become the Vanguard, and give her a chance at life."

 

[Sleepy]

"No Shade. You weren't ment to be the Vanguard. Besides, only minutes remain."

MysticWater teleported back to the cave, but fell back to the ground. It woke almost everyone up."Goodbye my dearest of friends. No. My family," she said in a weak voice and turned to Eclipse."Son..I give you all my..power."
