New cards on thursday. It will ALWAYS be a thursday.

I'm sat on a few holos here... one of them being the Weavile ex. We were planning Caskinaz's release, but do you think we should go with Weavile here?

We are NOT swapping any of our 102 Pokémon :) We know how to come up with names that sound right, which Ages cannot do at all. I did not like ONE of their names. Also, our designs are cohesive and follow the Pokémon design traits. The vast majority other than yourself enjoy a lot of our new Pokémon, so I'm sorry if I don't take your word for it :)

Maybe if everyone was siding with your put-downs of our Pokémon and if I hadn't seen a tribute card of Pharuff and so many good responses in our cards' favour, I'd perhaps entertain the thought that your criticisms are justified. For now, Acanthite > Ages.

Sorry if I'm being harsh by the way. I just don't like the idea that you think we should swap our Pokémon for a bunch that I think are VERY amateurish indeed - crap names, edited sprites, and original sprites or sprites from other games that don't even look like Pokémon. No thank you.

how long does it take to do one card? Just out of interest ^^

Depends on the level of detail required on the art. A piece of art like Pharuff might take 3 hours given the difficulty of the pose and it being the first time I've drawn it.

The body of the cards doesn't take so long - just 10 - 20 minutes because placement is easy when you've got PSDs to work with where it's already pretty much laid out in front of you. The only real hard part is thinking up the attacks and making sure the grammar's right. It's just the art that can be time consuming, especially nowadays because I spend more time getting in detail. In my last big set, I rushed the art a bit, and it ruined some of the overall quality.

Double post justified by new development in the topic and a requirement to bump -_-

Right then, today was the second card release! 9 new cards, and 2 corrections. I’ve also made a correction to the order of the set list.

Particularly noteworthy this week is the effort of Kangaskhan Kid who’s been in overdrive with designing the Acanthite Pokémon! I’m able to make so much progress with this guy on the side! Seriously, I think he’s credited as the designer of 36 of the 102 Pokémon, and there’s still more from him to come! I can’t thank this guy enough, and the quality of some of the new Pokémon designs is all down to him. If you like, I would say he is the 3rd man behind this project. What a phenomenal effort!

This week sees his designs Kestrawk and Felbin being brought to life along with Protrohm. Caskinaz is one of Cascade’s designs as is Skume, and so is Meowgypt although I did the art for that one. Damozelle, Neshell and Honoke are based off my designs, although drawn expertly by Cascade.

OMG!!!! GREAT JOB SO FAR!!!! keep it up, I'm looking forward to see more!!

And are those 3D Pokémon 3D? If so, what program do u ppl use to make 'em?

It's all just photoshop. Paintbrushes and stuff. Never touched any 3D graphics software in my life and neither has Cascade.

AWSOME!!!....PLEASE...at...least...consider...taking...some...pokes...from...Ages...they'd...look...so...cool..if...you...would...make...them...into...cards.
