Fake Card Discussion

Sorry then mate, I'm sure I had that built in to my computer. It may be worth googling, if you can find a DL I'll put it on the front page.
 
Hey everyone!

I just downloaded the fonts used for faking, but since i am a newbie i don't know what fonts are for HP, what fonts are for attacks etc. etc.
I don't understand the fontguide too good, so could anybody please tell me what fonts are used for name attack and HP etc. etc. ?

Does anyone have the SP logos that go next to SP Pokemon names such as the GL, E4, FB, G logos?
 
Nah, there insn't a resource, you just need to find the Ken Sugimori art and cut out the head :D
 
He means the actual letters of G, FB, etc.
 
Ah yes, they're on the symbolsheet due out on Pokébeach LAST YEAR. Sorry, until WPM releases it there's nothing I can do :(

HGSS Unleashed is awesome. It's better than any of those Platinum sets by far. The art is beautiful and the Primes far surpass the HGSS Primes. Just because it lacks Stadiums does not make it bad.

But from a faking resource point of view, it is bad, and other than Dark/Metal types, it doesn't provide new stuff.
 
I know people in this thread were asking for it too and I finally got around to uploading a new Frutiger zip. Check the Fake Resources thread for it :p

Anyway, I do have something very interesting coming up soon and I think you guys will like it. I've let loose a couple of things on Acanthite to thank them for a couple of things but when I'm ready I'll have a big release for PokéBeach on the condition that I get a few more comments on the Draco set in my thread at http://pokebeach.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=59872&page=1 because after only having about 3 or 4 comments overall during the process of me doing ten cards I do wonder why I bother sometimes. C'mon guys, it only takes a minute to say what you think of a card, so why not give the people some feedback? As a faker myself this is why I try to comment on as many fakes as I can :D
 
I use an old iMac (OSX Snow Leopard) with photoshop CS4 and it works perfectly. I takes my 2.5 hours to make a card actually from scratch w/ rests, but I like what I do and it's fun :)
 
Lol yes it used to take me a really long time to make fakes when I started (well, about 4 years ago) but now it doesn't take anywhere near as long, mainly because I've picked up new shortcuts and stuff, and memorize most placements :) Nice to see some fresh faces in the faking forums :D

Hey guys, I have a question on wording. I'm making a HGSS fake, and I need to reword the following attack:

Dig 10
Switch the defending Pokemon with a benched card of your choosing.

Thanks for the help in advanced

Usually if you Google keywords, you'll find the answer you're looking for. Pokébeach scans are a great tool.
