I just gotta love Harry Flynn, Sephiroth and Joker. Also, Deathstroke's a real badass. :3

But from the heroes (or just good guys): Terminator from 2 & 3, Ellen Ripley, Victor Sullivan, Chloe Frazer, Elena Fisher and Nathan Drake. As you can see, Uncharted is something I love. xD
 
I dunno, I really like Envy from FMA:B as one of my favorite villains ever. This guy... Wow. Talk about cold and evil, this guy killed a defenseless kid in cold blood, and not only that, but he enjoyed it. And you know what else? You feel sorry for him in the end. What is this.

Vol'Jin, Leader of Darkspear Tribe

He is my favorite good guy (or character in that matter) in a video game and will forever stay as my favorite
Mainly because his movement in Horde as a faction (World of Warcraft) WoW players will know this as of current situation
 
My Favorite good guy has to be Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Riku is a runnerup.
I recommend you don't read the spoilers unless you have played Dream Drop Distance.

Sora is kind and helpful, and literally would go off and have a tea party with donald and goofy in the face of suspense. Riku, because he was originally chosen to be the keyblade wielder but fell into darkness, but even then owned up to that darkness and mastered it, becoming a keyblade master!

My favorite bad guy would have to be Xehanort as well.

How heartless is it to claim that you can restore people's hearts and allow them to feel again, only to make them your clones. He did it once with Terra in Birth by sleep, but I didn't think he'd do it with the whole Organization Thirteen. Well played.
