"All those problems"? There are maybe a few at the most. Not really much more than most games (including Werewolf).

I read through the game before. it was a murderfest with the roles. But other than that it was cool.

Sorry, fail wording... Although MM does have it's share of issues. I'm indifferent to which games win, because they are all superb and I've never played 'em. They are all intriguing in their own ways and, in my mind, equals.

Go MM! Go Challenge! Go DNA!

This is kind of getting out of hand. I have my opinions regarding the forums and the decisions somethings made, opinions both good and bad, but this isn't really the place to be venting that sort of thing. If the question of communication needs to be brought up (and maybe it should), that should be on a separate topic, preferably where at least a couple of the mods and members form some sort of rapport. Again though, separate topic imo. Call me a mini mod, but I call it common sense, and I really hope that hasn't been lumped into the title. I'm just one of those members that doesn't want a simple thread to get blown out of proportion. I don't see this argument going anywhere good.

You guys need to calm down.

There's just a few days left until this ends. Can you guys please be civil?

I don't see why we're not being civil. There's no flaming, there's no ranting, we're just trying to have a calm discussion. If this isn't calm and civil, I don't know how someone can have a discussion. Discussing is about having differences in one another, and trying to find a conclusion. Yes, there may be some harsh responses, but it's perfectly human. Animal instinct shows that any creature will want to be intimidating to those they need to oppose, even for the little things.

But now I realize, why am I even here trying to beg for another game to stay? Clearly I have (arguably) solid logic, clearly I have people on my side, but what don't I have? Power. If this was a real life democracy, it wouldn't be such an issue. A petition would've been allowed, and the game corner would've existed in the first place. Obviously this isn't real life and Moderators are allowed to do whatever the heck they want to do because they can, and they don't need to listen to crap from the members. All I'm saying is that if there's only a fraction of the game corner, and you're not going to take suggestions on what should stay, at least just let people voice their opinion if they want to, they deserve it for all the changes that you've made. I don't care about the third game anymore. Just at least let them say what they need to say.

1) This isn't a democracy.

2) You're lucky anything is staying. I wanted to keep at least a few games around, and that is all that is being kept. I made this decision a while back and am sticking to it. If it were another person getting rid of the game corner, it would probably all be gone. I'm being reasonable, unless you would prefer no games.

3) You guys can voice your opinions, but we are not forced to do what you ask. We consider it.

Would you rather me flip flop back and forth on stuff, or should we quit whining? I mean I could stop listening to the poll results and just keep the games I want to. I am giving you guys a say.

Moderators are allowed to do whatever the heck they want to do because they can, and they don't need to listen to crap from the members.

Also, technically considering is:

con·sid·er/kənˈsidər/
Verb:
Think carefully about (something), typically before making a decision: "each application is considered".
Think about and be drawn toward (a course of action).

So yeah, you didn't really consider anything because you made your final decision before you announced the changes, not when the members rebelled.

Whatever. I don't care anymore. It was just a suggestion, considering it was originally a 3 way tie. If anyone's going to be diminished, warned or banned, I don't want to suggest another change. This all my fault anyways, had I only voted for MM and not accidentally another game like I intended to, this wouldn't have happened and MM and Challenge (I think) would've won. Sorry for wasting your time.

Wait, so any game not named Werewolf only has a one month time to fully finish? Just asking for a clarification here.

If that's how it's really going to work, then the games voted in are gonna have to cut down their size alot. The original 'TheChallenge' took over three months, and the one we had recently started had more contestants. Werewolf takes about ehh, at least two months, probably more. MM only takes a month, but that's because it extremely rushed and the role balance isn't really there. Trivia does take about a month, I think. Regardless, they really don't have enough time.

I suggest that once taken out of rotation, the game is paused until it is voted back in, where it will resume from where it took off.

See, some of our early posts in this thread just prove that we need more mod-member communication. The mods just make a decision and the members just have to deal with it. At least take suggestions, nobody likes an oligarchy.
I agree. I'm still waiting to see more of this right here.
I'm just hoping that this silly little debate going to be a one-off, because if not, I really doubt this place as a whole will get much of anywhere.
I'm not saying that this forum needs to be a democracy, but a representative for the members on the side of the staff definitely wouldn't hurt.

@HypnoticLuxray: Trivia of DNA I took 2 months from start to finish, but that's because I had to think up a lot of the questions midway. #2 should be a bit more fast-paced.

Werewolf can sometimes take 3-4 months especially when there aren't much kill roles.

...so are we allowed to start our games up again or something? The deadline was Sunday midnight and today's Thursday, and I see tumbleweeds.
What do?

I think the mods are just going to unlock The Challenge and let it continue, but for you, I'm not sure.

...even though it's supposed to be a game? wouldn't it be better suited for Entertainment and Games instead?

Also, it's not always Pokemon questions right? I could see it going in the Pokemon World forum if it's only Pokemon questions but if not I would say Entertainment and Games makes a lot more sense.

My bad, didn't know we were throwing them all into Entertainment and Games. That would be the appropriate forum. Although if DNA were to keep it strictly on Pokemon terms, I would argue that Pokemon World would be the more suitable forum. But that's neither here nor there for the time being.
