Fire Emblem

The World Ends with You is the best RPG on the DS in my opinion, so I'll recommend that.

They haven't announced any new entries in the series yet, but I'm sure one will be coming within the next year or so.

I've never really used Pegasus Knights, except when I randomly decide to use Fiora in 7 for the sole purpose of getting an A-rank with Kent.

Because I do that.

I said i would post a pick of my Nephenee and finally i have one. Here are my four of my best five characters in RD.
Volug: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/shadowrayquazastar/DSCN1195-1.jpg . Mia: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/shadowrayquazastar/DSCN1200-1.jpg . Jill: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/shadowrayquazastar/DSCN1202-1.jpg . And Nephenee: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/shadowrayquazastar/DSCN1204-1.jpg

Out of sheer boredom I actually started playing Radiant Dawn again for like the 8th (maybe even more) time ._.
Normal difficulty, though, it's just to cure boredom, I hate figuring out the attack zones myself, it's just so needlessly boring... That and a lot of other small things which annoy me about hard mode (I don't mind the difficulty). I somehow ended up always taking Ilyana with me, and somehow end up turning her into my best unit, but hard makes that, well, hard. I mean, even with resolve her speed is still pretty bad, thunder spells are horrible in this game (what were they thinking? "Oh, they're broken in PoR, let's make them terrible compared to the other spells now, as well as just making mages worse in general"... ...Poor Ilyana. Oh well, at least she doesn't turn into Calill upon class change anymore, I actually think this is what's stopping me from replaying PoR).

The fact that you can just stop for a short while without having to like, pause or whatever, as well as being able to listen to podcasts and whatnot make it a great time-killer. I still have a list of 10ish other really good games I have to beat, though...

Oh well, I usually use swordmasters (except for Edward, he's too good... And Stefan, because he's boring, nice weapon, though) and mages (Except for Soren because, well... you know. Calill, Tormod and Sanaki are barely used as well... I think that leaves about 2 non-light mages, which I also don't use ._.).
Mia (no idea why), Zihark (no idea why) and Ilyana (<3) are usually always on my team. I love the exaggerated vantage, adapt, critical, critical, adapt, critical, critical, *miss*, astrum, adapt, critical, critical with bravesword using Mia :) (Zihark tends to be too unlucky for that) Especially later in the game when that does like 1 or 0 to the dragons (Why would you use a non-blessed brave sword, right?). My teams are usually very, very, very small as well. For example: I just beat chapter one only ever using Ilyana and Zihark, Sothe was holding Micaiah (+savior), and had no weapons (his only purpose was to steal stuff), and Volug just avoided battle, and that's really all that went with me as soon as I got Ilyana (who single-handedly took out a lot of stuff with weaponless Sothe as a lightning rod). Micaiah got all the bonus EXP because, well, forced class change, same goes for Ike usually.

And with that I end this needlessly needless rant about nothing.

I've been playing fire emblem since the first fire emblem game for the united states came out. Ive beaten every one of the games at least 10 each (except for the first one which is around at least 100 times) Ive been considered the best fire emblem player ever. looking for an opponent that might stand a chance against me, anyone up for it? :)

Also, I think that wyvern riders and pegasus knights are worthless, but thats cuz i prefer magic and swordmasters/assassins. the only wyvern riders i have ever used was Heath and Vaida, just so i could say i have used every character and made them amazing on FE7: Blazing sword. without the delphi shield to protect them from bows, they are pretty much useless....

I usually don't play strategy rpgs due to the fact that I lack the patience (and sometimes the mental capacity) to play them. This aside, I thoroughly enjoy FE: Sacred Stones.

Wyvern riders I have never found much use for (except for Vaida and Cormag in FE8), but in one of my 15+ playthroughs through FE7 I can safely say this:

Lv 20 Florina [Falcoknight] is beast. She usually gets max Speed and all her other stats are great as well. I promoted her at level 16 or so, but if you have a 20/20 Florina, you have something awesome on your hands.

Legault: considering that two of the best characters in RD are Wyvern Riders (Jill, Haar) I really don't think they would qualify as useless. As long as you keep them away from archers in the GBA games and wind/thunder magic in the console games they're pretty amazing (especially in RD where Thunder magic is awful). High Def + High Str = yes. Pegasus Knights are only slightly worse; while they have awful Def and poor Str they're rather fast (if you've noticed) and have high Res, which can be quite handy.

Also you are the most overconfident Fire Emblem player I have ever met.

No comments on the pics? I just could not get over how good that Volug was. lol Plus i got him to a A support with Jill so that she did not have to worry about getting owned with that failure dodge (despite her speed). Through out the entire endgame not one enemy had a higher hit rate than 40% on Volug. He and Jill were just as good (if not better) than Cainghenis at soloing levels.

I get That a lot, but i havent been proven wrong and i am waiting to be proven wrong. ;) As for the Wyvren riders, I have used both Jill and Haar on RD and Haar is really good, but I have found for the Ultimate Axe, Nolan is the better weilder, because i have gotten his stats to maximum without bonus exp. or stat enhancers. I work on using only one person for every weapon, so i dont usually use duplicates of Axemen, But i always have about 5 or 6 swordsman on the feild just for fun.:)

I'll take you on in Sacred Stones. Ive been looking for a good challenge. lol

Whats your oppinions people on the Ma.... Dragon people like Myrrah from Sacred stones??

To me, they are gods. They are vurtually invincable and can obliterate most opponents in one shot.

The manekettes (I think that is how it is spelled) I think are amazing, its to bad that you cant use them in a link arena, they could dominate on their own. Then they were replaced with Laguz in PR and RD. I would love to take you on in Sacred Stones, but I dont have the game anymore, i gave it to a friend. If i ever can get it back, I would love a challenge. ;)

Kind of a fail right there. lol

LoneTyranitar:I guess in a way thats true, but I really dont care because Fire Emblem is AMAZING!!! lol

I have a quick question for anyone who uses emulators. Can someone possibly point me in the right direction for a decent Super Famicom Emulator and a download for Fire Emblem: Seisen No Keifu with an english patch? Thanks

I could give you an emulator (try zsnes) but I cannot provide roms, it's against the Terms of Service.

There's also definitely a patch floating around for Genealogy of the Holy War but iirc it's incomplete.

That's fine about the Roms, after all they are illegal. Anyway it would be great if you could link me to the Emulator.

Google is your very best friend.

(I love how my five hundredth post is me telling someone to use Google)

I'd just like to say I purchased Fire Emblem( one for me and my bro) Shadow Dragon for seven dollars on clearance at target. I'm going to start playing it this weekend maybe. Is there any perks or classes I should be aware of that are just way more Dominate than others? thanks

Heros are beasts and Hector is awesome.

Don't bother with pre-promotes, only a few of them can not suck (coughcoughMarcuscough)

If you're not playing Hector Hard Mode though you really don't need to worry, you can get by with almost anything.
