When you opened a packet/box/etc of cards what was your first major card? I went over the moon with mine, it was Victreebel. It was in the EX: Firered and Leafgreen set, I remember it. Ah sweet days...

I actually bought a theme deck as well, so I had two of these. For a long time, my decks focused around this guy.

I remember the first packs of R and S I got, and it was hilarious. :p

Okay, my sister, brother, and I all got a pack of the new cards. But before my sister opened her pack she asked if I wanted to trade our packs. So, we did. And guess what she pulled a RH Pelipper, and I was still little so I started whining that she got a card I wanted. But she told me to open my pack and see what I get, so I did and I got a Chansey Ex. :D (Remember we traded packs before we opened them, which means I got her Chansey Ex. x3 Too bad I didn't know it was rare then and still wanted her pelipper. -_-)
 
I've been collecting cards for like, ever, so I'm not positive what my first major card was. However, I think it might have been either this:

I think I got my first pack on my birthday when I turned 5 or 6, I god a 1st ED. Dark Blastoise from Team Rocket :p
 
I got a Shining Charizard from Neo Destiny. Too bad my friend's brother decided to rip me off by telling me that Neo Revelation Celebi nonholo was the rarest card ever made. Darn it!
Of course a 5 year old has to believe everything...
 
This was my first major card. Although I'm pretty sure I got it in a trade since I never pull anything good in packs.

Well, this is the first one I can remember but I didn't actually pull it, I traded some of my Bionicle junk to one of my friends for it right before my first league/tourny, which was on Jan 1st 2007.

First EX card would be Flareon ex DS. I guess I was pretty excited. It was at a PR too. :]
