Writing First Quarterly PokéBeach Short Story Competition (Congratulations, Artemis!)

RE: First Quarterly PokéBeach Short Story Competition (The contest is underway; the application process is closed.)

Ah. Got it.

As for the prize... hmm, I'd say it's okay, considering the situation. I already have the game, but it's mostly acceptable. If I win I can always just give it away to a friend or something. :p

Next time this happens though, I'd love to get two Pokemon dolls or something.

I edited in Serperior's story.

I am working on the next prize for the next competition, and I did think about PokeDolls! Any other suggestions are greatly encouraged! :D

So, how does voting work? Do we each get 1 vote for any story not our own? And is that the only factor or will the staff also be making a decision on top of that?

As for prizing, I honestly don't care; I signed up for the contest before the promise of prizing went up. If I like it then yay; if not then I'll just pass up on it and save you money.

If memory serves, 3 of the current contestants live in the USA; the remaining 2 live in the Netherlands.

For the record, you can also put me in the category of not caring too much about the prizes. I already own both BW2 and HG, plus living in Europe it seems like shipping costs would make it not worth it. I didn't join the contest for prizes; I joined it to have a fun time getting back into writing.

Same here. I don't care much for prizes, as long as I have some fun doing it. ^_^

I have both American and Europe address, but I honestly didn't join for the prize. I thought it would be nice to get some feedback from something I wrote and have a deadline to get me to focus down and write :p

My apologies for not being on lately; I am getting my internet problems settled out. You may vote for ONE fan fiction! :)

Congratulations, Artemis, winner of the First Quarterly PokéBeach Short Story Competition; it is a unanimous vote, among contestants and staff, that you are the victor! Please PM me for prize information, so we can get things settled out! Although you said you didn't care about a prize, you are still eligible to choose one! ***Pokemon Black 2 will only function on North American DSi systems, DS Lite systems, OR Original DS systems.***

Thank you all so much for competing in the FQPBSSC, and we hope to see you in the Second Quarterly PBSSC!

Congrats, Artemis! And also great work on your stories, other contestants! Sadly the turnout wasn't as I'd expected, but maybe things will be looking up for the WC in the next contest. I hope everyone can finish by then! :D

Wow, I never expected to win, let alone unanimously, but I'm glad you guys all enjoyed my story. Thank you very much for the opportunity with this contest! It did help get me back into writing, and I hope to be sharing a lot more writing here in the future. :3 I've got some plans in the works for the continuation of the storyline and hope to get a thread up sometime in the coming weeks.

* - As cool as this is, I kind of feel bad since it wouldn't have happened if I had had the time to read the other entries and get a vote in, since I wouldn't have voted for myself. Things have been kind of hectic lately, but I do plan on reading all of the other stories when I have the time too.
