Meteor Mash's in-game description:

"Fires a meteor-like punch. May raise ATTACK."

Onix, Steelix, and Shadix have no arms or punching appendages to speak of, so Meteor Mash isn't really possible to be learned.

Just because it's powerful and Steel-type doesn't mean it should be there. ;)
