It was not unexpected when Krookodile appeared on the scene a bit later into the day. He stomped out of his cabin, shouted a "Fire at M3!", and stomped back into it immediately afterwards, not waiting to hear for the disappointing splash.
Meanwhile, Komala had awoken from his long-lasting snooze. He took a long look at L16, and then said "Fire, over there." Early-morning fever must have been in play, as the shot hit the waters with a 'plop'.
In the meantime, the Giant Kraken moved to L18. Then, much to each sailor's relief, it resided to the ocean depths.

- Mini Propeller - 1 - Sometimes you need a little push in the right direction! With this propeller, you can sail to a new random coordinate in a specified direction. - 4500
- Spyglass - 4 - Peering through this spyglass will gain you the not-so-specific knowledge of a specified coordinate. - 4500
- Rain Stick - 3 - If you shake this stick, Heavy Rains from above will fall! - 2000
- Homing Cannonball - 2 - This cannonball is embedded with a complex tracking system, so your the shot is guaranteed to hit whoever you choose! The shot will be invisible on the grid-map, however. - 7000
- Whirling Cannonball - 2 - A cannonball crafted of the deep. Wherever it lands, a whirlpool with form. - 5000
- Ability Switcher - 1 - A peculiar item that will swap all of your Abilities with the Abilities of another player of your choice, if activated. - 18000

- Richochet - 2 - With this nifty Ability, you will strengthen your ship's hull so shots may have a 30% chance of bouncing harmlessly off the ship. 9000
- Nuclear Core I - 2 - Build an explosive center right into your ship! If your ship is destroyed, everything within a 3-point radius will also be damaged. - 11000
- Privatise - 4 - Why bother shoot a ship if you can’t collect all (100%!) of its cargo? Well, with this Ability, you can! - 3000
- Phantom Veil - 1 - Combine the skills of man and the powers of the spirits to render your ship invincible against most non-traditional cannonballs! - 12000
- Trash Collector - 3 - Under the cover of night, you may choose to investigate the inventory of ships and steal any items that have been sitting there for some time. - 7000
Flavour does not provide instructions on how to use Abilities/Items - you will receive those instructions after making your purchase.
Event - Treasure Diving
During this Night Phase, captains have the opportunity to dive for treasure, from gold to rare and valuable Items. Here are the rules for this event:
- You may not dive for treasure and purchase an Item or Ability on the same Night Phase. You may used Items or Abilities during the same Night Phase, however.
- To dive for treasure, you must PM me ##DIVE: <coordinate>, where the coordinate is in a 4-point radius of the current position of your ship. You may choose to search under your ship, if you so wish.
- I have randomly generated various treasure across the 21 by 21 grid. Specific locations may or may not have a greater chance of treasure than others. You are not guaranteed treasure by diving.
- If you search on coordinates of certain Environmental Hazards, you will learn that the particular Environmental Hazard can be found there. This does not work for ships.
- You will learn if you found any treasure at the end of the Night Phase.
- This event will very likely be available in future Night Phases.

Event - Heatwave
Suddenly, a heatwave pierces the battlefield! This means that all Abilities (excluding Strongboat) cannot be use and will fail to activate, for as long as the Heatwave is active.
"Thissss heat isss ridiculousssssnessssssss!" hissed Ekans. "Fire at R2!"
The Pokemon slithered inside at such as speed that when the shot landed with a "plop", she was already in her inside pool.
Even in the morning, the heat was a bit too much for Eevee, so in anticipation for shade, it decided to fire early. Indeed, they fired at C9, but the shot landed with a splash.
Contrary to the past, Krookodile was up early. Maybe it was the heat, or perhaps the fear of oversleeping, but it fired straight at H2, hoping for the sweet sound of despair. Unfortunately, the only sound heard was a ka-plonk.
