So does this mean I have hope for a Grass-type Scizor?!
Thank goodness! High hopes then for Wo-Chien!We don't know yet. Based on Scarlet ex/Violet ex/Triplet Beat, it seems each set will have 6 ex cards.
Snow Hazard has Squawkabilly, Chien-Pao, and now Annihilape, while Clay Burst has Ting-Lu, Chi-Yu, and then Bellibolt and Forretress. There's still 5 unrevealed ex cards, of which Wo-Chien has a likely chance of being one of them
Forretress gives up 2 prizes, the energies dont matter as much. Like sure they're good but the giving up prizes is the really good part, especially for control builds where being down is the strategry for better hand control. After two Forretress activations you can easily path/Ting-Lu/Klefki/Toxtricity/ any other lock/hand loop in the format and Roxanne or Iono to completely shut them out of the gameMankey/Primeape/Annihilape ex - man, where's my Rhyperior ex? I want to see Stage 2s who normally had high attack cost to become Stage 2 exs. Anyways, Anni's main atk is a one-shot deal. -/-/3-4
Mimikyu - something talk back to me abt no answer to ex immunity can now eat their own dirt, as it is our first and effective ex immune Pokemon. 5 Geodudes
Pineco/Forretress ex - if VIV Electrode was barely even that playable, why do expect the same thing as Forretress? -/3
You can't be serious. The difference between 2 energy and 5 energy is hugeMankey/Primeape/Annihilape ex - man, where's my Rhyperior ex? I want to see Stage 2s who normally had high attack cost to become Stage 2 exs. Anyways, Anni's main atk is a one-shot deal. -/-/3-4

I completely agree, which is why it's such a damn shame that the TCG only remembers this for the first few sets of each new generation.Limelight for underappreciated pokemon is always welcome! No matter what, there will always be someone to whom this is their absolute favorite pokemon.
Logged in for the first time in god knows how long just to say...Live wo chien reaction
Sure, I agree with that but, do we have something to make use of the ability? Also, You can even use the ability and ignore the energy stuff. We have cards that do just that before, but it depends on the actual translation of the ability and the official rulings. You can't be serious. The difference between 2 energy and 5 energy is huge
2 cards on Turn 1 would be too unrealistic. You only need 1 Forretress in actual play anyway. This is just a late-game surprise, just like PalkiaWell now we have iono so you COULD use foretress to Iono your opponent to 2 cards, the card has insane potential with Iono/Roxanne.
excuse me, have I missed something? How about the dragon types you abt to copyI mean, Regidragos ability can help fetch the fire energy and Fortress filters out the grass, it doesn't seem problematic. So far all decks using Fortress seem clunky though.
Regidrago copies the other dragon's attacks for fire grass grass, you don't need to pay the original attack's energy costexcuse me, have I missed something? How about the dragon types you abt to copy

You have goodra for tanking lostbox and giratina for killing... Most everything. There's a Dragonite for accelerating even more energy and a garchomp forr 200 dmg snipe on a limineon or whateverWhat he means is: what the hell are you going to copy? It's not like in expanded where the pool of dragon attackers is insane for you to copy and abuse the card.
Im guessing wo-chien will be in snow hazard alongside chien pao since chi yu is with ting lu, the names kinda match so i see what they did there. That would leave each set with 2 more ex's each. Wonder who they will end up beingThank goodness! High hopes then for Wo-Chien!
