The PokeBeach forum rules have been posted here as part of the "PokeBeach Master Document." The document contains all information you need to know about the forums, including the aforementioned rules, forum hierarchy, FAQ, chat rules, Pokemon Online guide, etc. You can access the thread in the future by clicking "Rules & Info" to the right of Horsea.

All members must read the updated rules by next week. All moderators will begin to strictly enforce the rules thereafter. Ignorance of the new rules will not be tolerated as an excuse for breaking them, so please read them at your earliest convenience. Thank you, and feel free to comment in this news story's thread by clicking this news story's title.

I'm glad the new rules are up. This should help answer many of the questions.

...That link is amazing. Now I can actually free up space in my signature for other things.
Just imagine - everything any member needs to know, right there, and I don't have to dig through pages and pages of old threads to find it!

I remember back in the old layout, many wanted the rules as an announcement at the top of each forum. If I remember correctly, they didn't stay up for long.

Now with this new layout, they're at the top, and they are there to stay, for everyone's convenience. You really did think of everything with this layout.

And I actually learned something new; about the 0 post accounts being deleted after one month.

Also, does the 500 character limit for signatures include codes such as [.url] or color tags?

^ I re-read the rules and I also learned something new! :p I agree that having the rules placed at the top of the layout is really niffty, hopefully our future members spot it out with ease and read the rules instead of being like "Oh noez!! 1 don't knoz wh3re the ruls r!! I hope iz no get banned."

Anything after [url= counts as a character. Other mycode doesn't affect the length.

Very impressive looking rule stuff. I'm liking the new Pokebeach WPM. And did the rule about discussing religion and politics change because I'm pretty sure before you weren't allowed to discuss them at all.

I just read most of it. Didn't bother to go over the newbie mycode guide, and the FAQ, as they hadn't been changed.

/me has read the rules though. :D

I was wondering what happied to the Hierarchy Thread.

I'm glad it's all in one place.

The picture from the poll section isn't working. Other than that and my 1 question I asked a mod, everything looks fine!

If you are in a certain user group and use the user bar of another group's on your profile or elsewhere (such as the Super Mod Palkia user bar in your profile), you will be banned for impersonating another user group.

I had no idea this was even possible.

Anyway, loving the rules being at the top.

The rules are great, and having at the top of the forum makes it easier for everyone, including those who linked to the old forum rules.

I think it means if you put the super-mod userbar as your avatar or something.

One member had made an avatar and banner that used all the userbars. It got really confusing.

I readed most of the rules. Like everyody says, it´s really convenient how they are on the top, to avoid people acting like certain members... OSFF

PokéBeach is getting better!

I just want to say thanks to the many people that made this possible. It was not all one person's work here (similar to the layout). So big shout out to Shining Raikou and dragonexpert as well as other Mods (and Water Pokemon Master and me of course. :D). It was a long time coming, but I think we finally have professional Rules to go along with the amazing layout, and now, Members will never have excuses anymore (not that they did when it was an announcement on top of every Forum _-_). This just makes everything look amazingly neater.

dmaster out.

I find myself disagreeing with one rule, but since it doesn't really affect me and it's not a big deal I'll just keep my opinions to myself. Thanks for clearing that up!

What rule is it that you disagree with?

Well, it's the advertising rule.

And its not because I want to like throw out support for different sites or anything like that, I just feel that what you put in your signature should be free. I mean, its not like zillions of people are clicking them anyways, so what's the harm of it? I think that people should be able to do what they want with thier signatures. Not innapropiate pictures, or huge walls of text, or anything stupid like that, but links to other pokemon forums are pretty harmless, at least to me. I'm not wasting my time at pokesunrise, am I?
