You're like a psychic!!!! Those are the exact same moves I have on mine, but one more question. Should I put my Spiritomb in my party instead?

Hmm, I would say no. Dusknoir has stronger stats than 'Tomb?

RE: In-game Team Rates

I now have a completely new team. Tell me what you think.
Arceus Lv.80 (Azure Flute event)
Shaymin Lv.30 (Oak's Letter event)
Darkrai Lv. 50 (Member's Card event)
Dialga Lv.100
Giratina Lv.75
Empoleon Lv.81

Is this better Raichupika33?

RE: In-game Team Rates

Thats what I was thinking. That I should vary my team's types, but I still want to have Arceus Darkrai and Shaymin on my team. Such hard choices! :)

I need some help with my team. This is what I have so far:

I'd like a Flying type to add. I like Crobat and Togekiss, but Crobat adds a big Psychic weakness to my team and a Shiny Stone for Togekiss isn't available until Kanto.

RE: In-game Team Rates

On Amphy I would have Power Gem in place of Rock Smash, and T-Wave in place of T-Bolt/T-Punch depending if it has a better Attack or Special Attack stat. On Typhy, why have Flamethrower, Lava Plume and Eruption. There are so much better moves for it, such as EQ, Rock Slide, and many more. You can also Heart Scale Gyro Ball, which can get a lot of diversity.

Cool, here it is:

Hi, since I am getting Platinum when it comes out I need critism and comments to help my team, any type of comment would help but make sure it is not offensive in anyway.
NOTE: This is an in-game team planning FOR the league.

So, in addition to that, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, team Fire4ever!

Team Fire4ever

Torterra - Reason - I never go for the grass starter
-Earthquake
-Leaf Storm
-Crunch
-Stone Edge

Toreterra is a physical attacker best, so I put powerful physical moves in there, leaf storm is actually special but it is very powerful and Torterra has so-so special attack so I might as well give it a shot.

Garchomp - Reason - Gible is available earlier in Platinum
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Flamethrower
-Surf

With Garchomp, its overall stats are killer, it has outrageous physical attack so 3 of Garchomp's attacks are physical, I put Surf there for an odd reason, even though it has alright special attack, it might as well know an attack opposite its type.

Alakazam - Reason - I can now trade
-Psychic
-Shock Wave
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast

Alakazam has fantastic special attack so I put all special attacks there, Focus Blast is a bit of a risk due to its low accuracy but its opposite its type, Shock Wave has always hits (apart from Protect and Detect) to make it up for Focus Blast. Shadow Ball is a nice move same with Psychic.

Vaporeon - Reason - It looks cute
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Iron Tail
-Dig

Vaporeon has quite an awkward move set, 2 of its moves are physical... Iron Tail again has low accuracy but it is powerful, Dig is a decent attack, Surf is a decent attack, so in total it has a big total of special attack.

Magmortar - Reason - More fire types in the game
-Thunderbolt
-Lava Plume
-Brick Break
-Rock Slide.

Magmortar in my opinion is the strongest-fire type before league Pokemon, it can learn a range of attacks. You can only get it while you have Surf too (Feugo Ironworks for Magmar). I want to spread my team out in order. I chose this over Houndoom.

Crobat - Reason - I need a Pokemon to fly
-Fly
-Zen Headbutt
-Sludge Bomb
-X Scissor

Thank you for reading.

man this team does not have good move sets at all they are not what they should be used for there satats like a spattack type attack on a attack type pokemon is bad and so on so try to look up that stuff if u dont know what i am talking about

Q: If i was to challenge the Indigo league, to what level should I train my pokemon?

RE: In-game Team Rates

When you challenge the League, I recommend nothing below 40. Also, on Arcanine, you might want to consider Heart Scaling Thunder Fang and Crunch.

RE: In-game Team Rates

This is my Platinum team. I just finished making it today, so I don't know how good it is. Anyway, here it is:

Clefable- Life Orb
Psychic
Meteor Mash
Cosmic Power
Follow Me

Clefable- Focus Sash
Flamethrower
Meteor Mash
Follow Me
Double Team

Clefable- Wise Glasses
Ice Beam

Hyper Beam
Calm Mind

Clefable- Focus Band
Thunderpunch
Meteor Mash

Follow Me

Clefable- Ganlon Berry
Shadow Ball
Cosmic Power

Dragonite*- Draco Plate

A team that has yet to be tested, but I see potential in this team during double battles.

Q: If i was to challenge the Indigo league, to what level should I train my pokemon?

My suggestion is to get rid of Dragonair's Surf and replace it with Aqua Tail using a heart scale. Also, teach Ampharos Thunder to get rid of tackle, even though it's a little bit of a risk because of its 70% accuracy. Also, Meganium knows Body Slam real soon. Otherwise, a pretty decent team.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Gyarados isn't bad, but Dragon Rage should be replaced with Aqua Tail. Also, give Gyarados something to boost the power of Hydro Pump and Surf due to its low Sp. Atk. stat. And think about teaching Pikachu Thunderpunch or Double Team to get rid of Quick Attack. And give Pikachu the Light Ball to boost the Atk. and Sp. Atk.

I would get rid of Blaziken's Fire Blast and teach it Flare Blitz. Also, teach Dragonite a good physical move like Dragon Claw or something to get rid of Dragon Rage. Otherwise, a very decent team.
