Halloween. Like it or hate it?

It's awesome when you are older because you get to go out with your friends, you can toilet paper other people's houses, and it gives a valid excuse to look like an idiot.

I love it for that exact reason. Every year for the past 3 years my friend has gone out to houses with only a thong on.

What state do live in? No, make that what country do you live in? Because I want to avoid it as much as possible...

Back in grade school, I always HATED dressing up in costumes. While I still don't care much for the aspect, I wouldn't mind wearing some face paint and dressing up a little bit. Since 7th grade, me and my brother have created a "Haunted Garage" each year. Maybe we scare little kids because we were scared silly when we were about 7....

I find that I like giving out candy to the kids more than dressing up or Trick-or-Treating.

Hm, I actually enjoyed dressing up.
But, I do half/half. I give out candy for the little toddlers, and trick-treat with the big dudes...

Well I like Halloween good time to hang out with friends and fun to look like a blood thirty zombie plus I like scaring kids in the haunted house me and friends make since were all too old to trick or treat I have no shame in saying I trick or treated until 16 plus all the Halloween parties to go to. :) nothing like a chick dressed as a cheerleader bumpin and grindin against you.

I don't like it. I can never go on my own, and mom brings all the neighbors, so half the people barely know how to walk.
BUT CANDEH IS CANDEH AND CANDEH IS YUMMEH!

I don't trick or treat anymore, but I like the holiday and the idea. Don't go for the candy or costumes, go for the cruel pranks. >:]

dmaster out.

I used to like it a lot when I was younger, which I'm sure most of us did. I never got to do whatever I wanted to do though because of my damn parents. Always had to walk with them. It's understandable because I'm sure a bunch of kids walking around at night would be a pedophile's dream, but sometimes I'd just want to tell them to go buy me a bag of candy instead of making me walk around for it. I'm glad I stopped doing it because now that I'm thinking about it, it feels like Halloween was more of a damn chore than an enjoyment. What sucks is now I'm stuck handing out candy to everybody.

I don't know if it's already been said, but Halloween does have a historical meaning.
In medieval times Halloween was the last day of the year that witches and other evil beings could roam freely. Or something like that anyway.

Hm..
actually what I heard (no offense Garchomp)
Was that the day after October 31st was the day that some countries celebrated their dead ancestors...
And they started calling "Hallow-Eve"
To "Halloween"
But, Im not too sure where the trick-or-treating came from....

Personally like it. But too bad it is not celebrated in Asia. :S It is a chance to wear a funny and/or nice costume, eats a lot of candy and scare people to death... XD

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, it's a day to get candy and scare people... Well, I like to scare people all the time.

It's a day that you can finally act something your not, or do something you usually wouldn't do.

Well, if you ive in Japan, you can cosplay pretty much all of the time...

Halloween gives me an excuse to dress up as something stupid (like an extreme makeover gone horribly wrong), and not get made fun of. Plus, it's always fun handing out candy and seeing what costume each kid has. So... yeah. I like halloween.

Nah, that'd be to easy. All I have to do is dye my hair green again :p.

Not to mention that my real name is Ezra, so that kinda' ruins it :/

Halloween is the best. :) Well, after Christmas.

Ever since I was a kid I was never able to eat anything I ever got, anyway. My parents were paranoid. But I love the whole vibe and I love cosplaying. It's so fun~ and really fun to take pictures. And scary stories! I think they are the best, the scary stories, and overall scary vibe.

I also love Michael Myers <3

I England they don't really support Trick Or Treating, but I would like to try it. Probably this year I'll super glue my cat to my hip and pretend we're Siamese Twins as a costume. I guess I like the idea of Halloween though, even though I've done it once when I was 5 with my brother it was really fun.
