This thread is for the speculation of the set HeartGold SoulSilver that's gonna be released on the 10th of February.

I have put all of the Japanese cards in Alphabetic order and set order (holo,rare,uncommon,common,trainer,prime,legend)

So, which cards are gonna be left out for our second HGSS set?

;; Lugia Legend stops at #114, but there are #123 cards in the set. What comes next?

;; Between Chikorita (#59) and Cyndaquil (#61) are two cards on my list, but there is space for one. So its Croconaw or Clefairy. Will the Clefairy line come in our second set, or becomes Croconaw an uncommon?

;; Ursaring and Crobat are going to be in the second set. We have 6 primes now. But, are the normal Ursaring and Crobat in our set?

Croconaw will most likely become an uncommon and I feel that Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr are going to become rares, if not holo rares because it is awfully weird to make them uncommons. If I am right then most of the things moved will probably have to do with rares to make room.

Unless they just switch places.
 
Did not WPM say that Crobat Prime and Ursaring Prime are to be added to our second set? If not, woo-hoo! Ursaring for the win!

I'm thinking Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr will be rares in the set and holo exclusives in the theme decks.

Would the basic energies be the last eight cards?coz they are getting new designs and usually it takes place with a new set.
 
I think so. So eight energies after Lugia legend (114), we still have one card left. Could that be Shining Gyarados?
 
I think we can assume that Prime Ampharos, Blissey, and Donphan are 111, 112, and 113 in some order, probably the one I posted.
 
Added that.

EDIT; Between Prime Ampharos (105) and Totodile (86) are 21 places but there are 22 in the list. Could Zubat be left out because Prime Crobat is going to be in the second set?

(Persian's second attack does extra damage with dark energy, but I did not see any other reference to either energy type.)

The 9 cards after the Lugia legend are probably 7 Energy [Excluding Dark and Metal] and the 2 Litographs. Yall are assuming on the energy thing that dark and metal energy are includded but they probably are not beacuse of the lacks of those types in the set.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing with Dark and Steel. Considering Gold/Silver were the first games to introduce these types, I thought it'd be a simple assumption that we'd get these cards in this set. But I guess not.

There aren't any Dark or Steel pokemon in this set because its the second Heart Gold Soul Silver set Reviving Legends which is going to have them. There was a post with cards like Steelix and Tyranitar mentioned.

Yeah man that was the point LOL

Anyways

If the TCG has any kind of heart or imagination then the uncommon starters will stay uncommon and we will get the holo versions in the decks OR we get the uncommon ones in the second set as rares (most likely will be this one). The crobat and ursaring will be followed by the prime versions so we wont get them in this set (like for sure).

Hey anybody curious as to what will happen with the litographs?
Like pull some different holo stuff on them or something
I'd love if they were fully holo. and red gyarados will prob. be "SH13".
 
No, that will probably be stopped due to the end of the DP-PT sets. I would guess that it would be the last card in the set along with the lithographs, like the EX era shinies.

THis is he absolute truth. I've seen it with mynown ryes. You guys know the social binder that's supposed to come out? One of my friends at league today had one. It was at a target. It goes the primes then legends and then energy. Card #123 is the gyarados we've been thinking of. The rest is pretty normal. I tried to memorize as much as I could but didn't get a ton. But there's the last cards from 115 to 123. Hope I helped.

Oh yeah. I noticed that too. That's REALLY messed up. I think that the Crobat line might be dropped, also.
