Heatmor - The Answer to Durant?

Its just mean. A single card that just counters durant. Its only reason - Durant. Its only play use- Durant. Its life-Durant. I mean seriously it will counter durant, but in my opinion it shouldn't even be a card. Oh well
 
What were the people who make the cards thinking when they did this?

Person who helps make cards #1: WHA??? Durant wasn't supposed to be good! It was a JOKE!!!
Person who helps make cards #3: Dude, its no big deal. There's an anteater Pokemon. Just make a card of it that makes Durant 100% unplayable. Problem solved.
Person who helps make cards #1: Oh yeah, good idea!

Ok, so they might have gone a bit far with this one, but we really did need a reasonable tech for it. There's a tech for almost everything else.
 
So we got a tech against Durant for that matchup only, Heatmor still does jack-squat against Cobalion cause it will still have plenty of HP left to survive an attack thrown at it. If there's another {M} Type I hate going up against as much as Durant it's Cobalion.

But it wasn't spot-on intended to counter a deck (as far as we know). The techs we have for other decks are really techs us as the players thought of.
 
Heatmor is not the new Claydol. If Durant was some loser basic that did 30 for CCC and like M for 10 + 10 on heads, you guys wouldn't be like OH MY GOD GUYS LOOK AT HEATMOR HE HITS DURANT FOR 120 GOD WHAT A COUNTER. You'd all be like "yeah cool hur hur he's an anteater and he eats ants".

If you are really struggling against Durant decks, then tech a Heatmor in and hope it doesn't get eaten/prized. If you choose not to, that's fine, too.

Really, that's all this thread boils down to, and I'm actually surprised it's gone on for this long.

Then you just use another attacker. Eelzone, Durant's best matchup, is tough with Durant. Zek/Thundurus (preferably Thunderbro) in combination with Zone can handle Cobalion. Yoy just need the right list.
 
All players that have Durant in their area should play 1 copy in thier deck to counter Durant. Durant is so annoying!!!

Well, if you see other durant in your area, you shouldn't play durant. On a related note, as soon as the durant players see heatmor, they won't play it anymore, making heatmor useless.
I don't think heatmor is the perfect counter to durant. Yes, it's the best, but it could get milled or prized.
