So I didn't have a PR today but I know that alot of you guys do have one. There is alot of stuff that I am wondering about the set that I hope you guys have answers for.

How many Primes/Legends were being pulled per box?

Did there appear to be a pattern of Primes in certain boxes?

Did both half of the legend come in the same pack?

If the legends do not come in the same back together do they take up the rare spot or the RH spot.

How cool are the new energy? Can they come in RH or just regular non holo?

Do the energy requirment symbols really look that big?

Does the font of the cards change like it looks like they did?

So just your thoughts on some of these would be nice.
 
I was just at my prerelease today, and this is what I observed:

In my 8 packs, I got 1 half of ho-oh, feraligatr prime, and ampharos prime. I don't know a single person there who didn't get either a prime or a legend half. Also, the average was 2 primes. This leads me to believe that you get around 1-1.5 prime in every 6 packs or between 6 and 9 prime per box. The prime were very abundant. I also think that there are 2-3, maybe even 4 legend halves per box. I like these ratios, and cards are a lot easier to get. However, the secret cards (shiny gyarados and alph lithograph) were very rare, I only saw 1 of each, but there had to be others, so I'd say either 1 of each, or one total per box.

I did not see any, but I also only saw 2 sets of 6 packs.

Very cool, and I did not see any in RH.

Yes, and this will unfortunately make fakes a lot more abundant.
 
There were not a set number of energy. In my 8 packs, I got 4 energy, 2 R, 1 F and 1 G
 
At my table at the PRs, there was a total of 30 packs. Only 5 people. We pulled 6 primes and 2 Legend halves. Yeah. The box ratios are madness for this set. You could probably get every prime with one box.
 
Yeah, that was pretty consistent with my findings, except a bit more of each usually. So I'm guessing 6 prime and 2 legend halves is just the usual.
 
out of 32 packs my family got 2 feraligatr prime, 2 blissey prime ,1 typhlosion prime, 2 ho oh tops, 1ho oh bottom, 1 lugia top and alph lithograph. so each box should have 3-4 legend halves 1 secret rare and 4-7 primes
 
In my first 6 packs, I got both of the Legendary bottoms. In the next two, I got a Feraligatr Prime. In the 5 packs from the Booster Draft, I got a Blissey Prime. However, I believe that LEGEND cards and Pokemon Prime are equivalent in rarity. Since I saw two Japanese Booster Box (20 packs each, in case you don't know) openings online, where in each set, the guy got 5 LEGEND + Prime cards, I would presume that there is a 1 in 4 chance of getting one, as opposed to my ludicrous 5 in 13 which is almost 1 in 3.
 
Yup, I just returned home from a back to back pre release event and can say that the ratio is VERY high.

At my table, (6 of us) we shared a box. I opened Meganium Prime. Person next to me pulled Ampharos Prime.
Person across from me pulled Ampharos Prime, Typhlosion Prime AND Meganium Prime. And a third person at our table pulled Donphan Prime and Feraligatre Prime.

It seems that you get anywhere from 6-9 Primes in a box.

I love it.
 
I've opened a box...Ratios work about so:

6 Primes per box

2 Legend halves - not sure if it's always a full legend, or just 2 random halves...my box had a full Lugia, but I traded 4 packs for 3 X's and the person got one of the halves and 2 Primes

Energies come about 1 in every 3 packs and replace one of the commons
 
I go to my first pre today. I do hope I pull some good primes.

Though, by the sounds of this set, it's going to be pretty hard to figure out the pack-hack for this set. If the Great's replace the rare...
 
3 Primes, the Alph card, and no Tops/Bottoms of the Legend Cards. This is out of 16 packs so it's about half a box, but it's not a completely accurate ratio. I did see the Alph card given out three times though, so idk if 1 in 3 boxes is accurate. I saw two Shiny Gyarados given as well.

In about 5-6 boxes I only saw one Shiny Litho and two Gyrados. However, there were tons of the tops and bottoms of Lugia/Ho-oh and Primes.
 
ME and the guys at my store averaged all the boxs at PR and found

Boxes got

4-6 Primes
3-4 Legend pieces
0-1 Alpha lithograph
0-1 Red Gyrados

this is the average out of 5 boxes.
