Pokemon How long have you guys been in the Pokemon World =D ?

I think I started when I was 5 or 6. I loved the good, old anime, and then I started grabing my brother's Gameboy Advance and started playing Sapphire. I didn't really get it at first, because the game was in english and I didn't knew much english at that time.
Later when I was almost 7 I got my own Gameboy Advance SP and a copy of Leaf Green. And I was hooked into it, this time I actually knew more instructions, and were to go.
I don't remember exactly, but I got a Pokemon XD themed Gamecube with Gale of Darkness and then I got Emerald (Or it was the other way), and I was way into Pokemon at there. Heck, I even made Pokemon drawings, I would cut them, and then made their moves gotten from XD, and I used them for battle. But don't get me wrong, I was and i'm still a good student.
After some sort of break, I started borrowing a DS Phat FROM MY BROTHER, he had other games, but soon he gave up on Video Gamez. Then I got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. I loved that game, and I cried at the end, I mean, who didn't? I had Super Mario 64 DS and other games, but at that time I really wasn't into Mario or basically anything else. Then I got Pearl, a Wii, Explorers of Time, Battle Revolution, My Pokemon Ranch, Pokemon Rumble, Platinum, Soulsilver, Pokemon Snap (Virtual Console) and eventually White, and then I MAYBE get Pokemon Conquest and/or Black 2.

Erm, I got a little carried away, so to make it shorter: I have been either 7 or 8 years in Pokemon. and all these years have been good. :)

8 years. Kindergarden game day introduced me to the whole thing, and I got competitive in the TCG a few years after that.

I've got almost every single game since Ruby/Sapphire. I also got the old games. I got into competitive TCG about a year ago.

Hey, that's pretty neat how you've engaged yourself in the Spin-Offs! The Spin-Offs are a breath of fresh air, breaking away into new gameplay mechanics and are quite fun. That's what I think!

Twelve years. I was nine and the TCG got popular in school, and then I got to try my best friend's Blue. The rest is history. :)

Ever since the original anime, although I didn't start playing the games until Ruby/Sapphire came out.

Ever since I was a wee boy lol, but I had no idea about anything. I've been competitive for 2 1/2 years, but before that I knew nothing.

Goodness, I think since I was around 7-8 years old I think. Red was my first pokemon game. I am currently now 20 years old. Pokemon just keeps on chugging along, eh?

Twelve years here I believe? I remember getting yellow from my japanese cousin and never playing anything else after that. My best memory of that has to be leveling my pikachu to ~40 before beating the first gym as I did not realize that my thunderbolts did not do anything to geodude or onix haha.

I've been in pokemon since...back when Charizard was popular :/ Don't remember what year exactly. The original charizard that was reprinted in Stormfront. The very old one fire type one from base set..I had a pile of them...collected them...but they went to the trash when we moved :( I was so angry when I learned that I had a pile of reprinted cards!!

I started watching Pokemon on WB a few years ago, starting with the end of jhoto and the beginning of advanced series.
Then, my first main story pokemon game was pearl, followed by ruby, then platinum, then soulsilver, then black.
However, my first Pokemon game was a spin-off: Pokemon Colosseum followed by XD.

I remember an old friend first teaching me about Pokemon. He opened a book full of all 150 first gen Pokemon and he would quiz me on their names. After that I soon started watching a bit of the original anime, as well as reading the Pokemon Junior Books! Hahah great times.
It started to get serious as I began trading cards with my other friend. We were hooked. A year it two after that I got (not played) my first game. Sapphire. Man those were good times.

I started playing Pokemon when my mom bought me a gameboy and found Pokemon Silver Version at the restaurant she worked at. I was probably 3 or 4. Then I stopped playing for a while and like Yu-Gi-Oh! for a while but when GX started I dropped it and got back into Pokemon. My cousin's Saphire got me a lot back into it. I also remember watching the original Digimon, but that was around the time I liked Yu-Gi-Oh. Pokemon is now the only one I care about :p.

As for competitiveness, I never really played too competititve,In the TCG I had very weird decks. I got into competitive VG in Black/White because I kept getting my butt kicked in Random Matchup :p.

EDIT: 400th POST!!

I've been in since 1999 I liked the movies, and such when I was 2 LOL. My mom has a video of my dad teaching me to play the card game at 4 years old (I barely knew how to read :p) So, I've seen it grow and such. I miss the older days when it was base set :(

Oh yeah. I love the artwork in the old sets! I really like the old Ken Sugimori cards the most! Now, the Ken Sugimori cards have my least favorite art :p.(well, in the DP era anyways.)
