I've also got another one;

How much is this the #149/147 Moltres from Supreme Victors worth?
I pulled this a while ago, yet I've always been pondering on how much I could get for it.
I also pulled a reprint of the Base Set Charizard from StormFront (103/100), but I traded that away foolishly because I didn't know that it was a reprint nor a secret rare until a little after. Please tell me how much that one is, too.

Do you have a pic of that Charizard? I did not know they reprinted it a 4th time. If it is a reprint how did they manage to keep the older picture of the card since they have drastically changed the art on the new cards. Honestly the newer cards are not worth a whole lot right now as they are fairly new. My Platinum Arceus is worth around $1.00 to $6.00 so your Moltres will be worth around that or about $5.00 more. I think reverse holos are worth more but not sure how much more.:) These are estimates so these are not in stone for your Moltres. If there is someone who can back me up please do. Just trying to help the best way I know how.:)

Here is a link to to PokéBeach scan of the Stormfront Charizard card. It's pretty cool!

How much would klinklang RH black and white , cobalion holo NV, terrakion holo NV,
and Rare candy POP5 be?

I believe that the Terrakion NVI 73 card is going for $7-$12 at the moment. Maybe an extra dollar or so if it is Reverse Holo?

Wow I did not know they did a Base remake. How much is that one worth? I bet not as much as the real one XD.:)

RE: The ''How much is a card worth?'' topic.

Doesn't seem worth the same price as the regular base one XD. That one you can't get in a 1st edition. I did not think it would be worth the same as the true base card. I don't know about you guys but in my book that is a fake Base Charizard. Here are 2 reasons 1. It did not come from the real Base set and 2. The Base Charizard can no longer be remade like the way WOC made the card. Actually none of the new upgrades can match the older cards bacause Frankly WOC did much better and just because the cards are better looking and have stronger attacks does it mean they are better cards. Sure the cards are cool and awesome but to a collector that has been into Pokemon since it started pretty much does not mean they are the best. TPCi failed on this remake. Sure the pic has been upgraded and has the same moves but it is not the same card as the old card XD.:)

To an extent I agree, but it wasn't meant to look exactly the same.

On another note, if you look at the quality of WoTC cards ant TPCi cards, you will find that the newer cards are more fragile and prone to temperature-related damage. They're also thinner and more cheaply made I'd assume.

I have noticed they are a bit lighter but did not notice any other stuff though. My cards are well protected though. I never play with them. Just collect them so I am not worried about the cards too much. I do got to say the Charizard is a cool card but it is nothing compared to the original Base Charizard XD.:)

The reprint Charizard isn't a Base Set Charizard because it wasn't supposed to be. It was a reprint so it was meant to just look like the first version, but not be exactly the same.

WoTC made good quality cards, but they sucked at actually making the cards, which is why they no longer make them. I say this because they allowed way to many errors to go through.
PUSA made the crappiest cards of all though. Take Rayquaza Gold Star: that card is near impossible to find mint. Why? Because the edges naturally start peeling, revealing the silver holofoil underneath. What kind of craftmanship is that?!
TCPi (although the same company as PUSA, just renamed) makes better cards than PUSA, but they are still kindly fragile and can easily be damaged.

Overall, Japanese cards are the best. I have yet to pull a Japanese card that has damage from a pack, unlike most of the English cards I pull. I pulled 2 Japanese EX cards, stuck them in a stack and put them in a drawer for weeks, and when I went to take them out, they were still Gem Mint, and I'm getting them grading next week. So, Japanese cards are most definitely made the best.

Less than $1. Mint ones on eBay are only going for a $1.

I only find 1 on eBay, and it is $15 + shipping. Can you post a link?

RE: The ''How much is a card worth?'' topic.

Any ideas on an opened Japanese Base set booster box of all 60 packs?

I was thinking of 8.50-9 per pack for a total of 500-550? Does that sound about right?

From what I've seen these packs go for over 11$ on ebay...Any ideas?

Thanks.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/pokemon-meowth-promo-10-never-played-MINT-CONDITION-/170893002837?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27ca044855

They usually go for 3-8 on auction sealed. Maybe 1 dollar if you are super lucky and nobody was bidding.

The lowest buy it now is at 15$ right now, seems like a lot of the cards got bought recently. I got mine buy it now for 3.50$ so it just depends on timing...
