My idea:

What if once a month we had Pokemon days or Pokemon weeks! The banner could be replaced by a picture or collage of that Pokemon, and the colors of the page would be recolored to that Pokemon. Example: May 17th is Seedot Day, June 5th is Skarmory Day, Febuary 24th is Yveltal Day, etc. There will only be one pokemon day or pokemon week per month. This would make Pokebeach and the fourms a little more fun :)

Just an idea.
 
I have something like this planned involving some engaging weekly activities coming the near future. It will tie into our social media pages as well. I agree with you, we could use a little more fun around here. Suggestions in this thread are welcome, of course. I just wanted to let you know the idea is on the table and being worked on.

In my opinion, January 1 should be Electrode (Pokemon #101, aka 1-01). The fact that he explodes meshes well since fireworks are often used on this day!
 
The start of every season a new form of Deerling? Or any other Pokemon that change through conditions, like Castform. But I like Deerling better.
 
We couldn't do Castform because of Differences in where people live.

I like the idea of Deerling. Maybe bring back banners with Deerling?
 
People suggesting that their birthdays be themed around their favorite Pokemon.
I'm beginning to sense a pattern here.

While I'm at it, April 10th = Gyarados Regigigas.
