Making a monthly or even weekly contest for the most impressive Pokedex entries sounds like a really good idea. A winner could be picked by some of the staff or a judging committee, and each week we'd ask for a different them for the entries, such as most informative or funniest entry. Just a thought.

This Pokedex idea just seems like a Create a Card type of contest that's been taken too far. If we are going to do something like creating Pokedex entries, it needs to be in a contest structure that's more open. That way you can have more creativity. It's not a bad idea, just a bad structure. If its like CaC and is once a month, then I'll probably sign up. However, if its on Google Docs or something, I won't really won't to participate as much.

I have to agree. If it was CaC style I would enjoy it a little more. I really don't understand Google Docs, and let's keep this stuff on the fourm where it belongs.

Google Docs could probably hold the archives of all the contests of that kind (for Pokedex entries), and the actual contests themselves could remain on the forums.

It would be better if it was like bakabt and the banners were user submitted and add the option of toggling between 3 options: seasonal (pre chosen and changes every week), random, original pokebeach.

Now that would be cool.
